85 this morning. I ran high all day yesterday but it looks good now.  Colder and windy, the wind was roaring all day yesterday and all night.  It started out blowing hard this morning but it is not too bad right now.
Thanks for the support.  I am getting better but it is taking time.  I tried to do this on my desktop but I could only sit for a short time and am finishing on the mackbook. 
When this first started I had a hard time walking from my bedroom to the bathroom, close, and now I can get from my bedroom to the kitchen, a lot farther,.so better.

124 this mostly clear morning.

It has been really cold lately, yesterday only got to 12°. Today's forecast is 10°/-3° brrr! Not going anywhere when it is this cold! I think this bitter cold is what is making my knee sore again. Even though the house is warm, when I go out to feed the yard tigers the cold really sets in.

Pain and stress definitely upset bg readings and right now I am dealing with both. My numbers are bouncing all over the place. I hate not being in control!!

Pain is stress for the mind and the body so naturally it is a hormonal mess. If you're back to 85, things must be getting better.

I'm off to Delhi for a day so I am posting much earlier than I usually do. I am 122 this morning.

84 this morning.  We had an overnight low of 24° this morning and it looks like cold for the next few days.  Not as cold as Barbara, our highs still in the 50s.
Yeah, I have seen my numbers going high when I didn't expect it, right now not but a couple of days ago.

143 this clear cold morning. It was -3° when I got up at 8AM, it is up to 1° now at 9:40AM.

The high yesterday was 11°, today's forecast is 18° high and either -8° or 8° overnight. I'm voting for the 8°!

I thoiught I may have had a fever in the early morning but I got up and took my temp and it was 98.2°. Just feeling kind of punk. not sure why...

124 today. Couple of outside meals and tea in Delhi but also a lot of walking.

90 this morning.  Our overnight low was 24° but heading to 55° this afternoon.  This is supposed to be the coldest and now we will warm up a bit each day. 
I am getting better slowly each day and am able to do a little more as far as walking and doing a few things that I haven't been able to do.

130 this cloudy morning.

15° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 22°/8°. It was 10* when I went to bed just after 4AM this morning, now it is up to 12°, sadly this is warm for this time of year...

Finally got my schedule for the cataract surgery. Left eye morning of Apr 5, follow up Apr 15. What I didn't expect is that he also scheduled me for my right eye on Apr 19. He had said that eye was no rush. I may put that off a month or so. Will see how first one goes. (I worry about taking care of my yard tigers when I am gone overnight.)

That's great news Wally. Wishing that you are able to get back to the way things were ASAP.

I may put that off a month or so.

Wouldn't it be better to get everything done and out of the way in one go. Otherwise you may need to go through the whole rigmarole after a month.

The first appointment is for Apr 5 for the left eye the second appointment is for Apr 19 so not at the same time. Not sure that a couple more weeks will make a big difference... I think it depends on how well/quickly the first eye heals before they do the other eye.

87 this morning.  We had a low overnight of 24° and heading to around 55° today.  It is supposed to be warming up the next few days.
I have a PT session this morning.  A couple of days ago I was not sure that I would be able to even get there but I have improved enough it won't be a problem.  I would really like to get this behind me.
Barbara, in my case healing was pretty quick.  I had my second eye done a month later but that was just the way they had their scheduling.  I would have liked to have it done sooner.  After I saw the result from the first eye I was anxious to get the other one done.  I had it done on a Friday and was back to work on Monday.

An inexplicable 150 this blue sky morning. I don't know what is wrong with me...knee has been quite sore lately.

22° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 30°/4° no snow/rain in forecast.

I need to book the motel for my surgery haven't decided on the second one yet.

I don't blame you for waiting on the second.  See how the first one goes and then make your decision.

It may really do you some good to see an orthopedic doctor about your knee.  The last injection I had was in 2018 and I haven't had any knee problems since.  The problem is osteo arthritis and the injection adds a cushion to replace the natural fluid.  The injection is done in the doctors office and is really quite easy. It may raise blood sugar but for me it was not that bad.  I was really having a bad problem with my knees before that.

107 this morning.  A bit higher than usual but I did cheat last night and grabbed a ouple of french fries.
It is now starting to warm up and Monday and Tuesday we will see high 70s, that will only last a couple of days but then we will be in the 60s.
