104 this cloudy morning.

Yesterday's high was 86° and sunny. Today's forecast is 88°/51° with some clouds possibly rain in the morning, then clear and sunny. Wouldn't mind a little rain...it is getting scary dry around here. The hot weather is taking a break for a couple of days then back mid week. Smoke will be around today too.

98 this morning.  We got to 115° yesterday and now it is supposed to get just a bit cooler but still around 110° for the rest of the week.  Yesterday it was officially 128° in Death Valley and there was a sign with a thermometer in another location in the Park that read 131° but that was not "official".  It is a big tourist draw though so they can take pictures of themselves with the sign and show it to friends back home. 
I read about the heavy rains in Northern India and the flooding.  It sounds pretty bad for the people there. 
There were several fires not too far from here that were in areas of brush and grass so not in the forest but still quite dangerous.  When they sat grass it is not like your lawn but it is up to 6 feet high and burns really hot.  Up to 1000 homes were in danger but so far the fires have been kept from them and it looks like they are getting clost to gaining control.  I am actually surprised that there have not been more but it will probably come.

I saw some of the CA fires on the news last night. I am surrounded by those high grasses you speak of and MT is known for some fierce fires too. I am afraid this is going to be a bad fire season all around, given these horrible hot temperatures all over the country. My thoughts are for the firefighters and what will be ahead for them...

I'm traveling and thought I'd give the new theme a trial from my phone. Apart from the fact that signals are poor and therefore speeds are slow, the theme and the forum is quite smooth and easy to use

The only slight problem I see is that the little photo for the bg tracker doesn't load. At least it hasn't for me all day. I just click on the text and the tracker does come up.

106 this sunny morning.

Luckily it only got to 81° here where I am. One of the weather sites I look at said it was 96° don't know where that was recorded. Today's forecast is about the same as yesterday's 87°/50°. A few days of respite from the heat and by the weekend forecast is for 100°! Hoping they are off for my area again!!

109 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 110° and it is supposed to be 110-112° for the rest of the week.  Yeah it is hot but it is normal for the desert in the Summer.  By the news you would think that it has never been anywhere close to this before and they are making it a really big deal.  It has been hotter than this before but that is overlooked and it is really kind of comical what they are doing to try and hype their news cast.

yesterday was a very rainy day here in Mumbai as well to the other city that I travelled to. I used India's new Vande Bharat train just to get a first hand look. Having not carried an umbrella I had to make do with some showers now and then. It was a long day but I got to have lunch which I don't eat.

It's working now. I used the new image I had created a while ago.
Now I need to improve the Logo text a little bit and make it crispier.

98 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high here was 80° a lovely day, cooler than predicted. Today supposedly begins the warming trend again with forecast of 91°/53° heading for 100° on the weekend. Though I seem to be in a slightly cooler are than the weather station. Maybe because I have moving water on two side of the house is the reason it is cooler...

Fire danger is getting very real here. On the news last night they said 84% of the fires were man caused. I just wish people would use their brains when they are out and about or camping, etc.
