87 this morning.  We got to 82° yesterday and should be the same today.  It starts to cool down tomorrow and it is going to be windy. There is a small chance of rain predicted but with the wind we won't see anything.
Another PT session today, it seems to be doing some good so I don't mind it.

8 Wally!! Hoping that is a typo!!

133 this rainy morning.

51° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 50°/32° with light rain in the morning. I have to go out this afternoon to get more yard tiger food. Quick run to PO and grocery store. Just hate to have to drive down the muddy road...

87 again today.  We got to 83° yesterday and I used the air conditioner in my car for the first time this year!  It is going to be cooling down now and we will be back in the 60s for a while.
Yeah Barbara, if I actually had an 8 for my bg I think I would not be posting.  I usually check my content before I post but missed that.
I saw an ENT yesterday about the nodes on my thyroid and since one is labeled as "highly suspicious"  I will have a biopsy to check for cancer.  I am not thrilled about that but then it is a good thing that it was exposed by the CT scan for the sciatica and it would have gone on a lot longer before being discovered.  Earlier detection is always better.

133 this cloudy morning.

49° was the high yesterday with rain most of the day. Today's forecast is 50°/36° and cloudy.

Definitely have to go out today, yard tigers need food... I am going to start ordering their food from Chewy.com so I don't have to worry when it gets low. Their food is many times the only reason I have to go out.

Sending good thoughts your way Wally that no cancer is found.

Well, I ordered my free home test kits on the 28th. They arrived today and I am rather upset because all 4 of them expire 7/20/2022. Not impressed with this at all and in line with what everyone on the other forum said about theirs. Guess I will use them up after each dr appointment and when I go out... Sad waste of resources...

Yeah, I agree.  Weird that mine are good to 2023, over a year.

113 today morning.

At a BG level of 8 I don't think anyone would survive let alone typing and posting. Barbara you could use one of the tests now and another one after your surgery. Hang on to 2 and then use as and when required when you don't feel too well.

91 this morning.  We got to 79° yesterday but there will be a drop today to 66° and windy.  Even cooler tomorrow as a front passes through but no rain here.  Some areas in Southern California are seeing rain and even snow in the mountains.
I am dealing with a bit more pain today.  I don't know how much good the PT is doing but I will keep it up as long as I can.

127 this cloudy morning.

48° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 42°/30°. Looks like fairly decent weather the next few days.

Not looking forward to Monday's drive up to town for gastro appointment. Just the short drive to the grocery store yesterday really hurt.

Well, I talked to the pharmacist at my local drug store today and he said the expiry dates on the home test are pretty solid. Maybe could go a week out, but no guarantee at that point that it would be accurate.

This program sounded like a great idea, but I don't see myself using 4 tests in around 4 months. What a shame. I'll use one a few days after Monday's dr appointment and another before/after my first eye surgery. I just don't go out that much that I feel at great risk...

The test I bought locally expires 12/20/22. At least that will get me into next Winter season.

92 this morning.  We got to 68° yesterday but it is only supposed to get to 53° today and it will be windy.  This will be the coolest day and start warming up tomorrow.
It sounds like they were grabbing the oldest test kits for the free ones but it is strange that mine are good for over a year.  Luck of the draw I guess.
