88 this cold (35° when I got up) morning. brrrr

70° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 83°/43°. Weather is gradually warming but nights will still be very cold. Welcome to Fall!

As far as the murmur goes, I'm just going to do a Scarlet O'Hara and "worry about it tomorrow". Tomorrow being after I see my pcp! I decided I'm not going to stress over what is unknown at this point. Not worth it!

Think I will go and shop on Amazon, that cures all!  ~ cat ~  ~ cat ~

105 this morning.  The high for yesterday, today and tomorrow is 96° !  We should see cooling next week and be in the mid to low 80s.
Yeah Barbara I think that he was not doing you any favors and your PCP will be much better to get your information from.  Like I experienced the murmur I had took over 3-4 years after it was first noticed by my PCP and yes it does indicate a need to follow up on it and get it looked at it is not something to worry about until you get a lot better information.  Maybe he just didn't want you to not see anyone and just ignore it.
I saw the gastroenterologist that did my colonoscopy yesterday and it was good/kind of bad news.  The good news is that there was no sign of cancer in any of the polyps removed.  The kind of bad news was that one of the polyps was kind of big, almost 1 cm, and although it had no sign of cancer cells he thinks that it would be a very good idea to have another colonoscopy in a year to make sure all is good.  I don't look forward to that but I guess it is better than not doing it.

Aww Wally I feel your "pain". At least no cancer and that is reason to be happy.

I learned from a poster on the TV forum that her dr said not necessary to drink all the "swamp water" just drink until all is clear. She gets by fine with 1/2 the 4liters, I would have been fine with that too... Someone else asked about the pills, I. had them once and they were so much better and seemed to do the job, but they have never been offered again. Maybe some issues not made public?

Don't know yet re any cancer in my polyps but size wise, one was 7mm and one 10mm. So one was 1cm will see what dr says, though I am due for 1 more colonoscopy (I hope that is the last time I have to type that word for a while) in 5 yrs!

111 this cold but sunny morning.

Yesterday's high was 74°, today's forecast is 87°/44°. Cold mornings warm afternoons, typical Fall for these parts. They say we may see some rain late next week. I'l take what we have for as long as possible!

Going to box up my old printer (it has just been a flat surface for years) and get serious about ordering the new Epson think I'm going with the ET 2400, it seems to be everything I need. I don't know why I am dragging my feet on this, but I'm going to do it...today!

96 this morning.  We had a high of, wait for it, 96° yesterday! and today it is going to be_____96° and tomorrow, yeah that too.  Well it is really nice and could be a lot worse.  Next week it will cool down 10° or more and that will not be bad.
So far I am really liking the printer and I think you will also.  Not having to deal with cartridges is a real benefit I think.  It is early and I haven't used it that much but so far I am really liking it. One thing I learned is that you should print something at least once or twice a month so the ink doesn't dry up in the tubes or the print head or then it will take a major head cleaning.  I have no problem with that as I print several pages more than once a month.
I saw my dermatologist yesterday and had two biopsies taken, one on the left side of my head and one on my neck.  Hopefully they will come back negative but I will know in a few days.

Yes, even if there are no print jobs just a test page will do. There are also options to just clean the head.

106 this sunny but chilly morning.

The high. I caught was 76° but the weather site says it was 83°. Today's forecast is 84°/48°.

Yikes I just looked up and there was a cat on the garage roof!! It jumped from the railing on the porch to the roof and was walking around. Gathered all over the porch were about 6-8 kittens watching in surprise. OG mama used to go up there and I thought it was her but no... It is a tin roof, good thing it is cool, or I'd have a cat on a hot tin roof dancing from the heat. I have visions as these kittens get big enough there will be more on that roof! They all may not be as firm footed as OG mama!

Need to get the last of the new borns I can find captured and then that will be it for this season I think.

Snap Barbara, 106 this morning.  Our high yesterday was, yeah, 96° and today it is going to be 96° again but starting tomorrow we will see a cooling trend and should be getting down into the low 80s by the end of the week.
Yeah there is a print head cleaning routine but the caution about using it too often is that this does use some ink and it is deposited in a collection reservoir.  On some of these printers this reservoir is not replaceable and when full it will stop the printer from operating.  The printer I bought has a replaceable reservoir so that will not be a problem but some models do not.  I have read though that the ones that Epson does not sell a replacement reservoir for do have third parties that do sell reservoirs that will replace the original.  Printing a page or two every month seems a lot easier though.

Good info Wally! I did order the 2400 last night. Yes, printing a page or two a month does seem the easier solution.

It is supposed to arrive Friday, can't wait!

109 this cool morning.

Yesterday's high was 79° yesterday, today's forecast is 74°/44° with clouds. Cooling trend ahead. According to the weather report on TV last night, tonight there may be a chance to see the Northern Lights around 9PM, if the skies are clear. I will be out looking for them, that is an awesome sight! Saw them once when we were in Alaska...

115 this morning.  The high yesterday was another 96° but it is finally supposed to be cooler starting today and be in the low 80s by Friday.
I am too far South to see the Northern Lights but would really like to see them sometime.

Read about that in the news today. It would be some experience. If you do, let us know more.

92 this morning.  Our high yesterday was the same, 92° and should be a couple of degrees cooler today.
I am so sick of Windows and would dump it but almost all of the programs I use are Windows programs and trying to switch to something like a Mac would be a very large task.  I can't use my new printer on my Windows machine for some reason and I don't know what the problem is.  I do know that it is a Windows problem as I can use it without a problem with my Mac laptop and even my iPad but if I try to print with my Windows desktop it freezes up and does nothing.  I have tried to uninstall the software and reinstalling it but that does nothing.  It worked just fine when I first set it up so what changed I have no idea.  Today I am going to do a reset on Windows so I will have to reinstall programs but that may be a good thing.
