126 this morning.

Yesterday's high here was 50° with a fair amount of sun. Today's forecast is 55°/33° mostly cloudy with maybe a light shower or two.

The son of the owner of the furnace co. is coming over today to see if additional vents are possible and if they can move thermostat for furnace. I have a couple questions re my gas heating stove too.

Garbage to top of road, reschedule MRI and transfer $$ from IRA to pay for new furnace are all that I have planned for the rest of the day. And of course feeding the kitties which is a task in itself!  (22° when I fed the kitties.)

101 this morning.  We had a high of 73° yesterday and it is going to be the same today.  The possibility of rain is pretty much gone for here now, too bad I was hoping for at least some, oh well.
My MOHS surgery spot has healed quite nicely and I go tomorrow to have the stitches removed.  I should also get the results from the biopsy he took so hoping that is negative.
Hope you get the results you want from the furnace inspection Barbara.

Glad you have healed so well. Hope you get good results from your biopsy Wally.

As far as today's "inspection" it is just to see if ducts can be added to the addition. I am not that invested in it either way. I've lived here almost 20 yrs with just a wall heater in the office and using a small space heater in the bathroom as needed. The wall heater died years ago and my stove and furnace heated the office space just fine. I'm sure they will again especially now that the stove is working.  I am just not sure I want to spend more money on this project than just fix what is broke. Also, I never use the office space anymore except that is where my printer is and the bathroom is just extra...

122 this morning. Slept later so light enough to see it is 24° outside right now.

Yesterday's high was 50°, nice sunny day. Today's forecast is 51°/31° mostly cloudy. Supposedly light rain overnight, but haven't been out to see f=if ii did rain.

Furnace will be installed Thursday. They are just doing the furnace at this time because they need to get other people's furnaces installed too, we all need heat this time of year. They will come back later to do the A/C part which is fine I won't be needing it for some time anyway.

Going to try to have a quiet easy day today.

97 this morning.  We had a high of 73° yesterday and it should be the same today.  The chance of rain is pretty much out of the picture this week although there could be a shower but nothing much.  The storm system will probably do a lot more further North.
Off in a bit to have the stitches removed and get the results from the biopsy.
Glad you are going to get the furnace installed Barbara that is what you need now.

129 this morning. 30° outside right now, a warm morning (LOL!) will feed kitties as soon as I post this.

Yesterday's high that I saw at 3PM was 45° one site says it was 53° but my better guess is 47°-48° at most. I try. to check the thermometer hourly but sometimes get busy and miss the high. Today's forecast is 54°/29° with possibly some light showers in afternoon or evening. They aren't supposed to be much of anything.

One more day/night of playing "space heater shuffle"! Tomorrow new furnace will be installed and weather is supposed to be sunny! It will be so good to have my life back to "normal" once again. Just hope it stays that way for a good long time!!

94 this morning.  Yesterday was "taco Tuesday" and I usually do well with tacos!  We had a high of 73° yesterday and today it is going to be cooler with a high of around 64° and the chance of scattered showers but I don't expect any.
I got the pathology report on the biopsy yesterday and it came out positive so another MOHS surgery is in store but appointments are now in January do it will be a while.  Not really a big deal, I have gone through so many of these it is just something I am pretty used to them.
Glad you are going to get the furnace in tomorrow Barbara I know it will be a relief.

132 this morning.

Up early as I want to get kitties fed before furnace people get here. Pretty sure kitties will go into hiding once removal/installation begins. They told me 4-6 hours to do the job. Kind of nervous about all the hustle and bustle that is going to happen but it will be so worth it when finished.

Yesterday's high was 48° it supposedly showered overnight but I won't be able to tell until it gets light enough to go out. Today's forecast is 49°/28° partially cloudy.

Wally, hope nothing serious comes as a result of your biopsy results and they can just remove what is needed and you go on from there. Sounds like it is something you have BTDT several times before with good results. Is. this caused by all your years working outside in the sun?

119 this morning, oops I had some potato last night but not too bad.  We had a high of 64° yesterday and actually did get some rain in the evening, about 1/4 inch which is more than I expected.
Yeah the biopsy did come out positive but it is early and not too deep.  I get checked up regularly by my dermatologist every 6 months because I have had so many of these.  Yeah I think working out in the sun and being very light skinned has been a problem for me.
Hope all goes well with the furnace installation today.

128 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 42° (though Wunderground says it was 52°--NOT). It was a crisp sunny day which was beautiful! Today's forecast is 48°/28° and clear with some morning cloudiness. The rain originally predicted for Sunday has been pushed back to Thursday next week.

It took the installer about 5 hours to get the furnace in and working. He was supposed to have a helper but he was a no-show. I have to get used to the new sounds this one makes, it is louder when blowing than the ole one but when it starts heating it doesn't sound like a small explosion just a little "ping".  Seems to be doing a good job! Glad to have all that behind me. Next will be the install of the A/C part at a later date.

20° as I start the morning feedings!

97 this morning.  We had a high of 64° yesterday and it is supposed to be around there for the next few days. There is a chance of some showers later tonight.  who knows, it could happen!
I am pulling my hair out with my electronics!  Yesterday my desktop PC was working just fine and the internet was OK but all of my other devices would connect to the internet.  When I tried to connect I got the message that the password was wrong but I knew it was right.  First I tried with my TV and it just gave the same message so I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked like usual and was connected.  Why!  Then I saw that my phone was not connected so I tried to connect and got the same message, password not correct so I unplugged the router and restarted it but no change.  I tried shutting it down and restarting it but no good.  Then my PC which was fine disconnected from the internet, what!  I ended up unplugging it and plugging it back then it was OK and then everything worked!  Phone, iPad, MacBook and TV all Ok.  Why this happened I have no idea.  Unplugging and plugging back seems to fix a lot of problems.  This morning my TV gave me a problem again but different.  I had a connection to the internet but I also have an antenna connection and it had sound but no picture.  If I used the internet connection I had a picture and sound just fine but not on the antenna connection so once again I unplugged it and plugged it back in and noe it works just fine.  What is going on I have no idea.

I feel your pain! All these wonderful electronics are amazing and very useful/necessary in this day and age when/if they work! If they don't, it is so frustrating to try to troubleshoot and even more so when you do fix it but have no clue how it happened and why the fix worked...

131 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 43°. A very frosty morning, it took a long time to melt off. Rest of day was sunny and dry. Today's forecast is 49°/31° mostly clear. May see some light showers tomorrow morning. Then mostly nice weather for a week with only a slight chance of a bit of snow on Wed. Will believe that when I see it!

Nothing really planned for today. Maybe laundry and a tiny bit of tiding things up. Besides the feeding of the kitties, a calm day hopefully.

Looks like 18° outside right now. Not too many kitties out yet so will wait at least until the sun is up to start feeding them. Morning feeding is the most hectic as the interlopers are there in force and everything is scarfed down quickly. Then I have to go out and feed again so everyone is sure to get food. Morning feeding is taking up to 45 minutes... the other 2 are just my kitties and go much quicker.
