115 this morning. Very tired feeling slept late.  Kitties aren't going to like me!

29° was the high yesterday with about 6 small flakes of snow falling. Works for me! Today's forecast is 33°/17°. Again supposed to be clear/cloudy but may be a tiny bit of snow from the tail end of some weather passing quickly by.

Today, my friend from the TNR is coming over. She is still thinking she can catch some kittens. She is going to try netting them. I almost laughed out loud but held my tongue. My kitties are fast and too smart to go for that one...this is going to be quite the comedy to watch!! Bless her heart though for trying, they all are so set on getting all the kittens fixed now, but I see them daily and I have huge doubts that will happen, not until Spring at least. They are so fast and even I can't get near the little ones... I sincerely hope she can catch some, but not very optimistic about the whole idea.

Thanks for the thought skb,  it seems with all the kitties, something always comes up to make the day busy!

109 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 61° and the overnight low was 38° so not getting to the freezing mark and that is just fine with me.

Well, turns out she is a no show for today, not feeling well. I'm game to try when she is feeling better, but I don't have much hope.

Today I need to freshen straw in the coolers.

141 this morning.

The high I caught yesterday was 24° at noon, it may have gone a bit higher. One site said it was 29° could be. Today's forecast is 38°/23° with clouds.I have my. doubts on that one.

TNR friend is supposed to come over this morning. I won't hold my breath. At least if she does come, she will see what I mean about these few kittens are not going to be caught easily now and probably not until Spring. I really appreciate all they have done, but I am not too happy about the subtle pressure they are putting on me now.

117 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 60° and he overnight low was 35° so pretty much the same and should repeat today.  There is now a chance of rain on New Years day but that remains to be seen.
Well, like you said Barbara even if she shows up the chance of catching those remaining kitties is small right now but might as well let her try.

130 this morning. Tooth is better, still need to find a dentist though.

38* was the high yesterday! Amazing! I really doubted it would get that high! Today's forecast is 37°/25° mostly clear. Nice!! Ten day forecast has things about the same. People are worrying about lack of snow...I'm not that worried, Jan, Feb and even Mar are the heavy months anyway. I think it is more the "snow oriented" businesses that are complaining.

Not much planned for today, maybe start looking for a small freezer online from Best Buy. I have to asses amount of cat food left vs when Chewy order will arrive and maybe yet again go to store to get more food to hold me over. sigh...

114 this morning.  We had a high of 65° yesterday and an overnight low of 35° so staying pretty much the same.  Hoping that we might get some rain on the weekend but it's a slim chance.
Off in a bit to get the stitches removed and that is my big event for the day.

137 this morning. Kind of dreading what A1c will be in Jan. with the numbers I have been having!

Yesterday it was 38° a nice day! Today's forecast is much the same 36°/26° with some clouds. I'm enjoying this weather for a change. There is snow on the mountains at a higher elevation so it isn't as if we are totally devoid of snow. And the "worst" is yet to come, several months of snow weather still ahead.

I didn't get to look for a freezer yesterday, so will do it today. Also some self soothing shopping on Amazon I think will help my mood a lot!  ~ cat ~   ~ cat ~

107 this morning.  We had a high of 63° yesterday and an overnight low of 35° so staying above the freezing mark.  We had a prediction of some rain this morning and got a whopping 0.02 inches!  Well, I guess it does count as rain but not much.
I got the stitches removed yesterday from the Mohs surgery and it has healed up nicely so glad or that.
I'm shopped out for December and will wait for January, a whole two days!

140 this morning.

38° was the high yesterday with a sunny afternoon. Today's forecast is 38°/24° much the same as yesterday. Around a week of this weather pattern before some snow might show up.

Nothing much planned for the day. I'll refresh the rest of the cat beds and tidy the decks some. One last pass through the house to see if I can toss any more unused/unneeded things to fill the garbage can tomorrow and that will be about it.

109 this morning.  Our high yesterday was a cooler 50° and the overnight low was 30° but it is supposed to warm up a bit and we should be in the mid 60s.  Rain yesterday pretty much didn't amount to anything, just some dribbles.
Nothing going on here today and won't be up to see the New Year come in. I'll greet it in the morning.

I haven't stayed up for the New Year coming in for many, many years! I just get woken up by the fireworks everyone shoots off for a while.
