128 this morning.  A little baked potato went a long way!  Our high yesterday was 61° and the low was 34° and it is going to start to get a bit cooler now but not by a lot.

Well bummer Barbara,  That is why I use the walker as it gives me something to grab if I start to fall.  I broke my hip once and don't want to do that ever again.

154 this morning. Not sure where that came from given my lack of food yesterday.

31° was the high yesterday, sunny but cold! Today's forecast is 34°/22° cloudy with some chances of light snow. More snow coming in the next few days. I am hoping not too much here in the valley.

3 teeth extracted yesterday. 2 were very easy, the 3rd, a molar, was very stubborn. All in all I feel fairly OK and glad the process has begun, It is going to probably be a couple months before all work is done.

I placed an Amazon order last night but I will go to Adverts to post it so we keep that stuff in one place.

Yeah I placed it yesterday so you should see it but it seems that mine don't show up as soon as Barbaras for some reason.  It is around $135 total but for some reason Amazon splits the order up into 3 parts even ordered at the same time so I don't know what amount you will get, if all together or split up.

104 this morning. Our high yesterday was 61° and the overnight low was 29° and it will be getting a bit cooler but not by much.  They have gotten some snow in the mountains and the Mammoth Mountain Ski resort got 16 inches last Wednesday and is expecting 8 inches today so that helps.
Glad you were able to get the dental work started Barbara.  I had to go through a lot of work with several teeth pulled and a deep cleaning by a Periodontist because a regular dentist  couldn't do it. Too many years f neglect and not going to a dentist.  That was about 15 years ago and since I go to my dentist regularly for exams twice a year and cleaning every 3 months.  It seems that for some reason I build up plaque very soon and no amount of brushing seems to help, well it does but I still need the cleaning to keep it under control.

Yeah, my tooth issues are basically a result of neglect. I finally decided ENOUGH! and got busy taking care of business. I know it isn't  going to be pleasant, plus it will be hugely expensive...but it has to be done!

39° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 30°/16°. I can see a dusting of snow on the front porch now, the predictions don't show much more coming. This is sweepable, dread when I need the shovel!

My hands are really acting up again, I guess from the fall. I see Ortho (my hand dr) the 16th so have a while to go yet. I'm sure he is going to push the surgery, but I can't do that and all the extractions and dental work at the same time. Plus I really need my hands, even as poor as they are, this time of year.

116 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 62° and the overnight low was 38° so not bad but the wind was really bad all afternoon and night.  We had gusts of 50 MPH and steady winds o 20-30 MPH.  I hate the wind but then live in an area where it is common.
My SIL had problems with her hand and a very bad trigger finger and had an operation by a hand doctor and says it is great now so hp you get the same results.

Yeah, I guess this is the year I take care of things I have been putting off. I'll get on the schedule for the surgery far enough out that the teeth will be taken care of first. Not sure any more I'll even know what pain free will feel like!!

134 this morning.

35° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 30°/20° and cloudy. Wind predicted along with a little snow Tues. A weather front is coming from the North and more snow (2+" for a couple days) and by Fri overnight temps in the minus degrees down to -10° then getting a tiny bit warmer for 3-4 days until the following Tues when it gets back above 0° overnight. I dread this just for the kitties sakes!

Mama Millie is trying to be an indoor cat!  She comes in late afternoon, I feed her of course, then she alternately sleeps in the leather chair beside me and the pillow on the ottoman for that chair. A couple of nights in the evening she voluntarily got up and went to door to go out. Last night I had to physically pick her up after 9PM and put her out. I'm not set up for an indoor cat, need litter box mostly. I might give her a try, but once she chooses inside she won't be allowed out again. That may be tough to enforce.

Hope I can get my energy level up quickly there is lots to be done outside this week!

102 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 53° and the low was 28° so a bit cooler but at least the wind is gone. 
I have given up on not having pain anymore,  It is just how much and if not too bad that is a good day.
Well you might really like to have an indoor cat again,  Hope it works out.
