I took Metformin for 3 years right after dx, then stopped when I was doing very strict lc/hf/keto which kept bg way down.

That was before my liver started going wonky. Metformin can damage the liver, thus the reason my Gastro wants 3 mo tests. Hopefully I won't be on it too long ... working on my diet will help more, with less worry.

145 this morning. Kind of surprised me...

45° was the high yesterday with a fair amount of sun which was nice. Today's forecast is 44°/30° and cloudy. (The Apple weather app on my computer says high of 51°, yeah right seriously doubt that!)

Laundry day, gathering garbage for tomorrow, and working on cat shelters on the agenda for today. Also want to do some clearing out of some of the accumulation of things I don't use any more, just to fill up the garbage can.

101 this morning.  We had a high of 66° yesterday and a low of 39°.  Getting warmer with a high of 71° predicted for today, tomorrow and Wednesday but Thursday it is going to cool down and we have a 90% chance of rain, hope so.
Yeah filling up the trash can is going to be my chore today and it will not be hard to do, actually trash cans.

147 today, but then I was up at 3 am and had a glass of my home-made garlic/lemon concoction. That always hikes the BG.

149 this morning.

47° was the high yesterday with just a little sun. Today's forecast is 44°/27° and partly cloudy. Hope that means more sun! Snow is slowly melting so everything is sloppy wet. Still need to refresh a bunch of the shelters and redo some of the boxes that are just too wet to keep. A little bit every day...by the time I finish it all, it will probably snow again! Well, it is Winter and Feb can be a bad month...just hope not so cold!

104 this morning.  We had a nice high of 72° yesterday with a low of 41° and it is supposed to be the same today.  It still looks like a good chance of rain Thursday as the "atmospheric river" hits California and it looks like the whole state will be seeing significant rain.

I couldn't get a morning reading as my battery is wonky. Asked for a couple of new batteries. The one spare one that I had, I recently replaced in my desktop PC's motherboard.

I always keep one spare on hand. Fortunately I don't have anything else that uses that size. When I put the spare in, I go out and buy a new spare right away.

147 this morning. Kind if stressful day ahead... 4 teeth being extracted....

43°was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 44°/28° fair but freezing fog in AM. Fortunately dentist appt is in afternoon. Wally, your atmospheric river is keeping the High in place here, keeping out temps pleasant and dry all week.

99 this morning.  We had a high of 75° yesterday and a low of 40° so it is warm here also but it will be cooling down starting tomorrow and the rain Thursday is predicted to be 93% and that is the day I have my dentist appointment, not a big thing just cleaning.
The rain shouldn't be a big deal but if we get a lot the streets here are subject to flooding.  I still hope we do get a fair amount here, the rest of California is expecting a lot of rain Thursday and then next week.
I have never changed the battery on my motherboard and haven't seen it as necessary but I have usually built a new computer before it has apparently been needed.  I buy the 2032 batteries in a 6 pack from Amazon so always have a few on hand.

Never thought of looking on Amazon for the batteries! I'll have to put them on my Shopping list.

Yes. I also have a zip lock bag full of all kinds of batteries but I did run out of them this time. And yes my PC is an old one which still runs Windows 7.

124 this morning.

40° was high yesterday, today's forecast is 45°/27° with freezing fog again this morning, then partly cloudy.

Dentist went OK no problem removals this time. I'm on soft foods/liquids for a few days then ease into more normal foods.

Dermatologist appt tomorrow, should be quick and easy. Only problem is it is mid morning and the fog may be a driving issue... Really just want to rest a few days, but it is what it is....

86 this morning.  We had a high of 74° yesterday and a low of 46° so still warmer than usual but it is going to start cooling down and the rain is supposed to start tonight and all day tomorrow then drying up over the weekend then a chance of rain all next week.
I saw a forecast on the Weather Channel for the month of February for the whole USA and it is supposed to be cooler than normal for Southern California and warmer than normal for Montanna which I am sure Barbara would be happy about although I don't know what normal is for February is.
There are so many things now that take batteries I have been buying them on Amazon for a while.  They now have a lifetime that makes it easier to but them ahead and keep them until needed.  There are so many different types, AA,AAA and many different button types.  I also have some I don't even know what they fit anymore. :-\

Ditto. When I went through my battery bag the other day, there were a couple of shapes and sizes that I didn't recognize at all.
