138 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 38°, today's forecast is 43°/31° and thank goodness mostly clear. One thing I hate driving in is fog and looks like I will be spared this morning. I hope!

Another trip to town today for Dermatologist. There is a spot on my back that pcp says isn't cancer, but it bothers me and I keep scratching at it. Hopefully dr will be able to just remove it. I've had a couple others like this, one on neck and one on ear, over the years and the dermatologist just removed them.

Then home and not going anywhere for a while. Just let my mouth heal a couple weeks before crowns start.

106 this morning.  We had a high of 69° yesterday and a low of 45° and yes, the rain did start early this morning but it is light and so far only 0.06 inches so not close to a downpour.  Still it is something and other areas in Southern California are getting a lot of rain and snow in the mountains where it is needed. This is the first storm and next week starting Sunday the next one will be bigger.
I am off to the dentist this morning but just for a cleaning so not a big deal.

128 this morning.

38° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 40°/32° cloudy with light showers in morning and evening with possibility of flurries overnight. Damp weekend with possible light snowy patches. However the mountains will get almost a foot of snow in some places, which is good for everyone...keep the snow up there and I am fine with it!

Dr appt went well. A blocked pore that he cleared out and definitely not cancerous. No pain or anything, just a bandaid after and on my way.

Now I can just stay home and take care of kitties and rest. Nothing on agenda.... phew!

130 this morning.

38° was the high yesterday with just a few showers. Today's forecast is 37°/31° with possible flurries and showers throughout the day. Tomorrow predicted to be even wetter...

Everything is catching up with me, achey all over and totally exhausted. I need to go feed kitties, but if I had my wish, I'd go back to bed!

84 this morning.  We had a dry 60° for a high yesterday and a low of 42°.  We are supposed to see rain later tonight and all day Sunday and into Monday.  Some areas in Southern California are bracing for a lot of rain over the next three days and it could cause a lot of flooding.  The mountains are going to be getting a lot of snow so that is good.
Hope you are getting better Barbara I am feeling off also and need to get some rest.

138 this morning. Jaw is really aching, but the pain meds make me so groggy....

Yesterday's high was 41° rain showers on and off all day. Lots of puddles. Today's forecast is 39°/27° may be some rain/snow showers early, then just cloudy.

I have to figure out how to drain standing water off concrete in front of garage. Poor kitties on that side have to walk through water to get to porch to eat. I need to channel snow melt off to the side into the dirt/grass area. Hopefully ground is thawed enough for me to cut a small trench to divert melting water.

105 this morning.  We had a high of 60° yesterday and an overnight low of 40°.  The rain started about midnight and has been lite but steady.  So far 1/3 of an inch and the heaviest is supposed to be later.  Some areas are going to see a lot of heavy rain through Tuesday. They are expecting three feet of snow at Mammoth Mountain today so that is a lot.

134 this morning. I'm going to restart the Metformin today as I have no appointments or places to be for a while now, maybe I can adjust better to it this time around.

40° was the high yesterday, a few flurries early. Woke up to about an inch of new snow yesterday, but it was very wet snow so harder to deal with. This morning just alight dusting but maybe a bit more by 8AM. The forecast today is 44°/24° and cloudy.

22# bag of cat food from Amazon out for delivery today via USPS wonder if she will drive my muddy road or if it was handed off to Amazon Delivery. Just hope it comes today, no matter how.

Wally, I watched an interesting video of the Atmospheric River from above it filmed by an Air Force jet, on Weather.com. Very interesting and oddly beautiful from above. If you haven't seen it thought you might like to.

84 this morning.  We have received close to 3/4 inch of rain so far and it has been pretty light but steady.  More expected today and it is raining light right now. Other areas of Southern California have seen major downpours and there has been flooding and mud slides causing problems and a lot of people without power.  Here in the desert it has been pretty light but nice for this area.  There has been a lot of snow in the mountains as expected so that is good.
Yeah I did see that Barbra.  It is quite a picture of what is hitting the West Coast.
Hope you get the delivery, a muddy road is a problem.

127 this morning.

42° was the high yesterday with just a spritz of snow early then mostly clear with even some sun. Today's forecast is 39°/26° mostly cloudy. Slight chance of a bit of rain/snow tomorrow, but not much.

Gosh Wally, the weather looks terrible for SoCal! Hope it is not impacting you too much. Also hoping it doesn't head this way! 10 day looks typical for this time of year doesn't show anything major coming...so far.

Well, time to go feed the hungry kitties!!  25° outside right now, foggy and frosty.

85 this morning.  So far we have gotten 1 1/4 inches of rain and there will be a bit more today but should be out of here by this afternoon.  For here it has been a light and pretty steady rain and not the heavy, heavy downpours the parts of Southern California on the other side of the mountains.   There they have seen lots of flooding and mud slides causing lots of problems.  We do need the rain but sometimes it is too much at once for some areas. So far Mammoth Mountain had received over 4 feet of snow and is at 112% of normal so that is a good thing.  Here the steady light rain has been good as it soaks in and really helps the trees in the area that need it.

131 this morning.

40° was the high yesterday, foggy most of day but no rain/snow. Today's forecast is 35°/28° with light sno on and off all day. Accumulation predicted here in the valley 2-3" up in the mountains much more. 3 days of this light flurries/rain then back to just cloudy by Saturday. I hope the snow amounts are on the higher side for here so I don't have too much shoveling to do! Maybe this is the residuals of the Atmospheric River Wally's area experienced?

99 this morning. We ended up with 1 1/2 inches of rain from the "atmospheric river" here and it looks like it is out of here now.  Lots of rain in many areas and snow in the mountains so ski fans are rejoicing. I imagine it could be having some influence on what you are seeing Barbara.

My meter seems to be stuck at the number 140 +/- 1. For the past seven days the meter has not budged, no matter how strict and disciplined I have been with my intake. That puts me at around 120 which is a notch higher than where I should be.
