122 this morning.

35° was the high yesterday with light snow falling most of the day. Probably had about 4" total. Today's forecast is 38°/26° with just a little lingering snow early morning. After tomorrow just sun and clouds with temps about the same for a week. Black ice is going to be the problem this morning, glad I don't have to go anywhere. Yesterday it was a hoot watching the younger kittens sliding around on the ice while playing...not os much fun to drive on it!

82 this morning.  We got just a little bit of rain last night and now it looks like it is out of here for at least a week.  That is a good thing as we are getting our roof re-shingled next week so it will be exposed for a couple of days.
Driving in snow was not a problem for me but ice is really dangerous. It got bad when the snow melted during the day some then refroze over night.

Yeah, driving on the black ice is really a "killer" really!

When I went out to feed the kitties I was surprised with a good 4" more of new snow from overnight! Took me over an hour just to clear feeding stations and get their dishes out, to get them all fed.

Thank goodness my friend is coming later to help shovel!

Just yesterday, I was cribbing that my meter is stuck at around 140, and today morning it gives me a 134. I'll take it gladly.

130 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 40° with just a few more flakes of snow. Today's forecast is 35°/19° cloudy with a few flurries. I sure hope it doesn't go that low though. Black ice warnings for this morning until 11AM. All yesterday's melted/wet snow froze overnight...

I may have to go out once again to get some dry cat food. I have enough right now until Chewy delivery Monday, but the weather being what it can be en-route, it goes through Salt Lake City, shipment may be delayed. If that that were to happen I'd run out. So may go out this afternoon or tomorrow, depending what tracking shows. This time of year they eat so much more it is really hard to gauge how much I need.

107 this morning.  We had a high of 54° yesterday and an overnight low of 32° so the rain is gone and it is getting colder.  It looks like we will have mostly clear skies for the next week and then another chance of rain starting next weekend.  Our roof should be done by then.

124 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 38° with light snow most of day, just a dusting. Although overnight looks like 1-2" more. Today's forecast is 36°/20° cloudy and some sun. 10 day looks pretty good, but last weekend it did too and we had a good amount of snow during the week. I'll believe what I see...

Some shoveling on the agenda today but I really need to rest more. Really achey all over and my hands are really bothering me again.

103 this morning. Still no rain in sight for next week so that is good and we should get the roof done without any problems.
Not sure why but I am really tired today and it took all I could do to get from my bedroom to the kitchen.  I had a good nights sleep so that isn't it.  Going to go back to bed and rest.

107 this morning. Getting back to better eating and the Met/Berberine combo seem to be helping.

Yesterday's high was 33° fairly sunny with a few clouds. Today's forecast is 37°/28° and cloudy. Hoping for some sun too! Ten day forecast shows fairly average temps with a small chance of light snow Tues and Wed. Of course that is always subject to change....

I have been so tired and achey lately, I really hope the weather does cooperate and give me a rest from the outside work.

Hope the roofing goes easily Wally. When I had mine redone after the tree fell on the house it was Summer so weather pretty much guaranteed to be good. Hope your weather does stay clear for you!!

106 this morning.  We had a high of 56° yesterday and a low of 28° so on the cold side but it is supposed to start warming up starting tomorrow.  The forecast for the next week is for the mid 60s and more importantly dry.  Yeah Barbara doing the roof when it is a complete tear off is risky in the winter but it looks good for the next week.
I feel a lot better today so not sure what was my problem yesterday but I had a good nights sleep and seem to be OK so I am happy with that.

Question for you Wally, my Chewy order (2 boxes) seems to be stuck in Reno. When I talked to Chewy a few minutes ago she said something about weather delays. I tried googling Reno weather but mostly only found averages. On the 7th of Feb and until now has the weather been that bad in Reno that FedEx wouldn't be able to ship? I seriously doubt that, but thought you may have a better idea of real life weather around there. Somebody messed up this order and I can't figure out who it was.

What is bizarre about the whole thing is the 3rd box shipped from Belton MO to Olathe, KS on 2/8 and is on the way for 2/12 delivery to me. I would have expected weather problems on that shipment, not the one from Reno!

Thanks

Well I don't know how much it may have been yesterday or a couple of days ago but Reno in not too close to here so I can't really give you much info.  Right now it is showing sunny and clear so if there was something causing a delay it should not be a problem now.

Thanks! I went online to FedEx on the trackng page and the ID# that was on my FedEx tracking is "not recognized" by FedEx. Chewy said she could see the pkgs were in Reno...this is so weird!

I went out today and bought a couple more 16# bags of food just in case.
