112 this morning. I'm getting there....

Yesterday's high was 40° and mostly cloudy. Today's forecast is 39°/26° with flurries in the AM then cloudy. Forecast change so often this time of year, what was supposed to be a string of decent days now has a day or two of snow showers mixed in....now some snow showers showing for Thursday. sigh...

129 this morning, oops, I had frozen chicken last night and it was breaded, thought it was going to be OK but it kind of wasn't.
Our weather here is going to be dry and mild with no wind so good for the roofers.  They have started to remove the existing shingles so the roof will be exposed for a couple of days so good that there is no threat of rain.

123 this morning. Overslept by an hour, so DP probably helped get to that #.

36° was the high yesterday, mostly cloudy. Todays forecast is 41°/22° mostly cloudy.  Around the same for tomorrow, and by thur may see some snow.

It is going to be a crazy couple of days!! I'm going to have to make some access in the garage as they are also going to haul away the two broken fridges out there along with the one inside, at $20 ea that sounded like a deal to get rid of all of them!

I am so tired and sore all over right now, it is going to take all I've got to get through the next 2 days. I just got up but want to go back to bed already, but there are hordes of kitties waiting to be fed by the doors!! This too shall pass......sigh

101 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 60° and the low was 30° but it is supposed to warm up a bit for the next few days.  There is a chance of rain for a couple of days next week but dry for the rest of this week which is good as the roof is exposed right now but it should be finished by the end of the week.

Read about a snow storm in the NE of USA. I hope you are OK Barbara. Your posts don't indicate any kind of storm around you.

No, not near me.  I am in the NW, here the weather has been decent... maybe a few snow showers tomorrow, a bit more thur, but mostly sunny after that for several days. I'm sure we will see more Winter before Spring gets here though.

Thanks for asking though...

119 this morning.

42° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 33°/21° colder and more clouds and even some light snow today and a bit heavier tomorrow. So much for the nice days predicted a day or two ago!

Refrigerator being delivered between 1PM and 3PM. Hopefully it gets to temp soon enough for my friend to bring my food back later today. Hope install goes easily no hitches! It will be a real relief not to have to worry about it any more.

103 this morning.  We had a high of 64° yesterday and an overnight low of 37° so staying nice and dry.  The rain predicted for next week is going to get here later than originally thought and now is expected to get here starting Monday so the roof will be done by then.
I checked the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and the snow level right now is 125 inches (3.2Meters) right now and they expect close to 3 feet next week.
Dog has become used to the noise on the roof and has become a lot more at ease.  Right now the old shingles have been removed and small repairs on the plywood sheeting that were needed. Now they have to wait for an inspection and sign off before they can begin installing the new shingles but that should be done this morning.  When they start it is going to be loud as they use power staple guns and I think the dog is going to be upset again but it won't take too long and should be done by tomorrow.
Installing the new fridge shouldn't be any problem and it should get cold pretty soon. You should be able to put the food in after it has run not long after it starts.  Especially as cold as it is where you are.

108 this snowy morning.

Yesterday's high was 35° and mostly clear. Today's forecast is 26°/10° with snow flurries on and off today through the evening. Predicted snow total is 3-5". Sheesh, just the other day they were saying decent weather clouds/sun for the next 10 days. Couldn't they see this coming?? I don't know why I bother with looking at predictions....

Today was going to be a rest day just organizing fridge. Now I'll be shoveling too!

I can't believe how nice and cold my protein drink and tea are this morning! I guess I had been gradually getting used to the warming fridge and didn't notice the difference. Wow, costs be darned, it was worth it! Looking back, I guess the obvious decline was starting about a week ago. I had thought maybe I had left the door ajar. Nope, it was slowly dying.

88 this morning.  We had a high of 67° yesterday and a surprising low of 50° so it is definitely warmer.  There is still a chance of rain Monday and Tuesday but like you Barbara I take the predictions with a grain of salt.  Maybe yes and maybe no.
Glad the new fridge is in and working.

Actually the new roof will look just like the old roof.  It is just replacing the old shingles with the same but new shingles.  With these asphalt shingles they need to be replaced every few tears and we had been having leaks with the old ones. so it is just removing the old ones and replacing them with new ones.

109 this morning.

30° was the high yesterday with snow on and off most of the day. Today's forecast is 28°/4° maybe a flurry but small chance. Very cold nights (nothing like before though) for the next few days then supposedly fairly nice weather in 10 day forecast (see today's Quote LOL).

I am totally exhausted, even after just getting up! Too many things too close together have just sapped all my strength/energy. Make me feel so old....

Speaking of feeling old, my son and I talked yesterday and he is retiring next Thursday!! Retiring? How can my baby be retiring! Yikes! He has put in 30 years with the County Fire department (he is a Battalion Chief now), before that was 2 years a Paramedic. He'll be 53 in May, he called from work so couldn't tell me his plans but I'm sure he has something else up his sleeve even if just a part time gig.  Retiring...I'm semi shocked, he sounded really happy!

DD has 25 years in with her Police department, she is Chief of Police, I better get ready to hear she is retiring too soon. She still has littles at home so she may work longer. She is 2 years younger than DS.

ETA @8:03  18° when I went out to feed kitties only about 15 showed up, I guess the rest are still in their cozy spots. Though I did hear some fighting...something is riling them up the last few days.

107 this morning.  We had a high yesterday of 68° and a low of 42° so pretty warm and it should be about the same today.  It is still looking like a chance of rain here Tuesday and maybe Wednesday but it is not a big chance here but there is a real possibility for a lot of the West coast and they are worried about flooding.
Yeah Barbara, kids can make you feel old.  They seem to get older faster than you.

126 this cold morning. 0° right now, but by comparison to what we had earlier, that's not too bad...

Yesterday's high was 28° mostly cloudy. Today's forecast is 30°/15° mostly clear. 10 day shows warming trend, sun and clouds until 2/28 when some snow again. It will be nice to see the sun for a few days but I can't totally believe the 10 day forecast, things always change!

Really liking new fridge! It is somewhat larger outside, but the inside is much bigger than old one! I just put things in when it got here, now I want to really organize it so it is efficient. Best part is now I won't even need to buy a small chest freezer!
