93 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 64° and the low was 42° so still pretty nice.  They are almost done with the roofing so the rain expected next week shouldn't be a problem. 
Glad you are enjoying the new fridge Barbara.  They are an improvement over the older ones.

110 this morning. 10° outside 7:30AM, but at least no new snow.

Yesterday's high was 29°. Today's forecast is 37°/21° some clouds and small chance of a bit of snow or rain.

Think I am going to look a bit at Craigs List to see if I want to try to sell some of my craft items. With my hands the way they are, I will never be doing any of that fine work like cross stitch again. I really need to start to off load a bunch of these things!

108 this morning.  We had a high of 70° yesterday and a low of 47° so still staying warm.  We got just a bit of rain last night and it is supposed to rain later tonight and tomorrow and Tuesday.  How much we will have to see but probably not much however some areas more on the coast are expecting some quite heavy rain and the normal flooding and mud slides.  Multi million homes built on cliffs overlooking the ocean are teetering on the edge after erosion and are in very real danger.  Great view until it all comes down.
I need to get busy and get some of my things listed on ebay.  I still have my iPhone 13 I need to sell after I got the iPhone 15 and several other items.  I just need to get pictures taken and then list the items.

I supported myself selling on eBay for about 8 years when I first moved here. Rocks and Crystals for healers and/or collectors. I retired early at 62, figuring, rightly so, my checks would be larger as "surviving spouse" and based on DH's earnings rather than mine. Since then I have not been near eBay even to look at it. I even closed my PayPal account. I imagine things have changed drastically in the 12 years since I retired and I don't really want to relearn it. Craigs List is simpler and for what I have a much cheaper/easier format. It is just getting going and actually doing it!

The items you sell Wally are hot items and I'm sure move quickly.  My things are not "hot" items and probably wouldn't even sell well. Plus there is shipping involved, where with CL ,I just meet in the grocery store parking lot and do the sale.

Hello. Glad to be back. Last 3 days were hectic and exhausting but we were able to finalize most of the things that the visit was for. 
No meds since June 2011

124 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 34° with just a very light dusting of snow late afternoon. Forecast for today is 41°/23° mostly cloudy. 10 day looks lovely days up in low 40's. But in the back of my mind I see "Jerome" the cat in his 18" of partly cloudy, and know better than to believe the forecasts!

Well, my gloves still haven't come out of hiding, so I am going to buy a new pair today that I can actually see and try on.The Amazon one will be my back up.

114 this morning.  We had a high of 69° yesterday and a low of 52°.  We got just a dribble of rain early this morning and it is doing nothing now.  They are expecting a lot of rain along the coast but it is not there yet.
I agree Barbara it is quite an experience to see it in person.  My Wifes aunt actually ran the concessions there and it was a big operation.  She had a huge restaurant and gift shop that also had dorms for the employees that were mostly students for summer work.  It had been in her family for many years.

124 this morning. Slept a little late, guess I missed the sweet spot for bg...

39° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 44°/27° with a good chance of freezing rain for an hour or so ending 9AM, then cloudy.

Nothing really planned for the day, other than kitty feedings. There is a new stray hanging around that is a fighter, darn, it really upsets the equilibrium here! Must be a male in search of female... if it stays, it is in for a big surprise when trapping starts up again! I don't have many unfixed females, but these darn strays could be some.

It is 30° outside now at 7:40AM, warmest morning in a long time, but foggy. Almost feeding time...

108 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 64° and the low was 51°.  We had just a light sprinkle that didn't really do much of anything.  It doesn't look like we will get much if anything out of this storm system but some areas are.  Mountains are getting snow so that is a good thing.
Off in a bit to my Dermatologist for a check up, what he calls a full body check, to see if there are any pre-cancers that need to be taken care of.

117 this very foggy morning.

Yesterday's high was 49° with periods of sun. Yay! When I got up this morning it was 19°. Today's forecast is 45°/30° and mostly cloudy. Hope to see the sun more!

Yesterday when post lady delivered my Amazon box she said she won't come down my road anymore as long as it is so muddy. She did say she will call me if she has a box that won't fit in my mailbox, as she leaves it, when road is too muddy, so I can drive up and pick it up at the street. I can foresee some problems with that. I think I should just call PO and ask them to hold for pick up anything that won't fit in my mailbox for now. I wish we as neighbors could do something to fix this road better.

Now I have 2 new pair of gloves! One pair is more a working glove while the pair from Amazon a little bit dressier. Still no sign of old gloves...

98 this morning.  We had a high of 60° yesterday and a low of 43° and just a tiny dribble of rain. 
Off shortly to have my claws clipped so that is my big deal today.

111 this morning.

High yesterday was 44° partly sunny with just a small shower early evening. Today's forecast looks to be about the same, 45°/27° mostly cloudy with some sun. Slight chance of a bit of snow according to one site but nothing on the others. I just really want it to be dry so the mud can dry out on the road.

For some reason I was really achey last night so took a 2nd Meloxicam before bed. I do feel some better today. I have only been taking 1 in the morning. My rx says can take 2/day but Gastro would rather I keep it at 1/day so that is what I do.

103 this morning.  We had a high of 66° yesterday and a low of 39° and the rain is out of here for a while.  It is supposed to be warming up now and we may get to around 70° on the weekend. 
I had a prescription for Meloxicam when I first had the problem with sciatica but it didn't seem to do much and the Gabapentin was what helped the most.  Different problem I guess.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

I am violently allergic to Gabapentin, can't take it at all! The Meloxicam really smooths out the aches and pains for me. 2 pills one AM, one PM work the best, but gastro wants to keep it to one (so I take it AM) as it can cause liver problems...

125 this morning.

43° was the high yesterday some sun was nice. Today's forecast is 48°/24° and mostly clear. Good timing as I have outside work to do today. Weather looks pretty nice for a week or so. Hope that stays true!
