89 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 59° and the low was 47°.  After bragging about not having a problem with the power going out here it went out twice yesterday. 
Only about for 10 min. the first time and about 5 min. the second time and I imagine it was because of the wind that was quite heavy, oh well I should have knocked on wood, my bad!

I have learned over time never to say "x" is so great works like a dream...or don't worry there are plenty more of "yy"s around you can get them anywhere... things in that vein. Because sure as the sun comes up in the morning, the "x" will break down and the "yy"s will be discontinued and never more to be found.  It is a stone cold jinx and I try to avoid saying anything like that if I can.

My example: I told my friend my 1998 fridge was working like a champ, and bam! 3 days later it died!

131 this morning. Feeling a bit better but still so achey.

39° was the high yesterday, overnight around 20°. Today's forecast is 36°/16° with flurries in the AM then mostly cloudy. Supposedly much better weather by Wed...I'll believe it when it is here!

Anxious to get started on garage. But I want fairly decent weather to do it in!

83 this morning.  We had a high of 65° yesterday and a low of 38° and it is going to be warming up and we should be in the 70s.  Thankfully the wind is gone and it is bright and sunny.  Mammoth Mountain got 3 feet of snow over the weekend, not quite the 4 feet expected but farther north in the Sierras they got 10 feet and they are having snow removal equipment breaking down from over use and it is going to be a big job digging out.  It is good for the snow pack over all though and a good sign for our water supply.
I got a letter from my primary doctor that she would be leaving which was a surprise and now I will have to start over with a new primary.  I was with her for around 7 years and was quite happy with her so it will be sad to see her go.  She had said that when her husband retired they would move from this area so I assume that was what happened but I am not sure.  The clinic where she was at is owned and run by the hospital and I have another appointment with a new doctor next month but that doctor is temporary so not sure what the future holds.

It is hard to have a dr you like leave and have to search for a new one. I just went through that but it was my choice to leave him! I got really lucky in that the new pcp I found is very good. I think a lot of the drs many of us have been with for a long time are reaching retirement age or a spouse is so they do too. As I pick a new dr nowadays, I go for a younger one that will hopefully be my last one needed. The plus is they have studied a lot of new techniques/gadgets etc, but the tradeoff is the hands on experience of the older dr.

152 this morning. Besides not up to par, didn't sleep well either.  Need to get over this by Friday's dentist appointment!

42° was the high yesterday , overnight was high teens. Today's forecast is 38°/16° and mostly sunny. Colder nights but sunny for next few days. Need to take advantage of that to work on garage.

I was just thinking about it and realized the 4th was the 20th anniversary of my move here. Can't believe it has been so long, still can't believe on some levels I made the choice to do it all by myself!! Wow! Aside from being further from family I don't regret it either!

91 this morning.  We had a high of 71° yesterday and a low of 44° so warmer and the trees and flowers are starting to notice the warmer weather.  We are supposed to get to the higher 70s in the next few days.  It is a little early for Spring weather here but I will take it.
Yeah, starting with a new pcp is going to be interesting.  I hope to stay with the clinic as it is part of the hospital and all of my history is here for the last few years.  I took an appointment with a doctor that was given to me but that is only temporary so I will search for a permanent new one.

132 this morning, still not feeling great.

41° was the high yesterday with plenty of sun! Today's forecast is close to the same but warmer at night, 41°/17° and clear. Not much wind so that will be good for sweeping out all the dirt from garage floor.

I will be wearing a N95 mask though just because there is most likely mouse * and kitten * in the mix. (One kitten got scared in there and wouldn't come out until we trapped it last Sept.) It also is really dusty in there, so the mask is just to keep from breathing all that too.

104 this morning.  We had a high of 65° yesterday and a low of 46° and it is going to be warming up.  Pretty cloudy all day yesterday but bright and sunny today.
Wearing the N95 mask is a really good idea with the mouse droppings there.

129 this morning. Tired and achey, but going to the dentist anyway. 6 crowns all at once is going to be an ordeal, but will be glad when it is done!

Yesterday's high was 38° and mostly sunny, overnight it was high teens. It was a good day to work outside. Today is going to be about the same maybe a bit warmer at 47°/17° and sunny. Spring is trying to get here, but I know we'll see more snow yet.

Have to leave at 9 for Dentist so need to get kitties fed and put on proper "going out" clothes, sweats won't cut it sadly! I hope Mama Millie behaves while I am gone!

106 this morning.  We had a high of 68° yesterday and a low of 45° and it is bright and sunny today.  It tried to rain yesterday but just spit a bit but it was cloudy all day.
I have no appointments all month in March which is unusual but April will be busy.  Thankfully I am done with the major dental procedures and now it is just an exam and cleaning.

143 this morning. Certainly not diet related, I could hardly eat last night! LOL! My jaw and my gums hurt so much I am considering an oxycodone pill this morning. The temporary crowns will be replaced on 3/29 with the final ones and molds for the lower bridge made. Still a ways to go before I am all done....

Yesterday's high was 42° and sunny. It was a beautiful day. Today's forecast may even be nicer, 51°/28°, partly cloudy. Seriously doubt I will do much of anything today. Exceprt set the clocks ahead at bedtime!! I'll miss the morning sun, but it will be back soon enough.

96 this morning.  We had a high of 67° yesterday and a low of 35° so kind on the cool side.  It is supposed to get to 71° today so we will have to see.
Yeah, it is that time of year again and setting the clocks ahead will take a few days to get used to but I do like the longer days.  I wish they would get their act together and finally make it year around.
I hope you have better luck with dental work than I did Barbara.  I had upper and lower teeth removed and replaced with dentures for about 1/2 of my teeth but could never get used to them.  They were not good for chewing food and got food particles under them and I finally gave up.  Dental implants are probably a solution but not covered by insurance and quite expensive.  I was given a quote of $18,000 and since the teeth I have left do the job I passed.
