136 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 65° today's forecast is 57°/35° cloudy with possible rain showers in AM.

I don't plan anything for today except gather the garbage for tomorrows pick up.

94 this morning and the high yesterday was 94° so that is a coincidence.  The high today should be the same then cooling down just a bit into the 80s for the week.
When I had returned home from the hospital I didn't feel like eating a lot and made pudding using sugar free instant pudding and HWC mixed with water and did pretty well with my BG.  I have never tried protein/meal drinks and have always figured that would not be very good for my BG but that was just a guess on my part. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

127 this morning.

58° was the high yesterday with short burst of strong wind. Today's forecast is 56°/36° cloudy with small chance of light showers and or thunderstorms during the day.

Hand dr appointment tomorrow up in town to see if I can get on schedule for hand surgery. It is an early appointment, for me, as with the kitties and all I don't usually schedule drs until at least 11am. This appt is 9:45am and given the drive to town I'll have to leave around 8:45am...ugh.

101 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 95° but it is supposed to drop to 86° today and tomorrow so cooler but then not cool.  It's sunny and no wind so pretty nice.
Nothing on my agenda for today so just keeping cool inside.

116 this morning.

54° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 63°/43° mostly cloudy. The rest of the week is supposed to be about the same with more rain in the valleys and snow in the mountains. Then it is back to warmer weather.

Woke up this morning and my furnace was not running...sheesh. Apparently the internet may have gone out over night but is back now. Somehow this time the signal from wireless to furnace was lost. I don't have time this morning to fiddle around trying to set it up again. Have to leave in a few minutes for dr appointment. Thank goodness for the stove in the living room! In time it will take the chill off most of the front part of the house. When I get home will call the furnace people to walk me through the reset.

If it isn't one thing its another!!

95 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 87° and it is supposed to be warming up a bit more and be in the low 90s for the rest of the week. 

Yeah our new heater/ air conditioning unit came with a new thermostat that is like programing a computer.  It was set up by the installer but took a while to learn how to use it.  It can be connected to the internet and be activated by using your phone and actually be controlled when you are not home but we have never set it up for that.

Called the furnace people when I got home from dr. They were here about 1/2 hr later (slow time for them)! At first he thought I blew a fuse?! No... But there was a loose wire in the Wireless box for the furnace. When he connected it, the unit found the internet immediately. Then the thermostat found the connection and all is well again!

121 this morning.

65° was the high yesterday a bit cloudy but nice sun too. Today's forecast is 54°/37° cloudy with rain showers and maybe some thunder. The next few days are going to be about the same then end of weekend it is supposed to get better.

I am scheduled for hand surgery 5/31. He's going to do 3 fingers on my rt hand first then after that heals 3 on the left. The 3 fingers are thumb, pointer and middle finger on each hand. Surgery sounds easy but the recovery is going to be hard having a hand basically disabled. I'm looking at things that could be a problem most of which is opening the vial of my test strips. I'm already practicing doing everything left handed. I will be so glad when all is done and healed teeth and hands!! Then I'm taking a break from drs I hope!

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 85° and it is supposed to be 92° today so a bit warmer.
Off in a bit for X-rays of my teeth for the dentist to get approval from my insurance for the deep cleaning.  I am not looking forward to that but I guess it needs to  be done to keep the teeth I have left.
I hope the hand surgery does the job for you Barbara.  Yeah, having to do things with only one hand is not easy and living alone makes it even harder but hopefully it won't be for long.

122 this snowy morning.

Yep snow! I woke up to about 3" of fresh very wet snow!! It was a good test of getting to kitties in the Winter! Feeding was a breeze and many of the cats had taken refuge over night so they know what to do. Then I had to shovel a bit of front deck to get down to Dish Satellite dish to sweep the snow off it as there was no signal when I turned TV on. Sigh, all that by 7:10am!  My poor lilacs probably won't bloom this year.

The snow is not unusual this time of year but I hope that is it for this year. With hand surgery next Friday, I don't know how I could do any of it alone. My mouth is a bit better, I just hope it has settled down by next Friday!

107 this morning.  Our high was 90° yesterday and should be the same today.  Wow, snow!  A lot different than it is here.  I like our weather here a lot more, no shoveling here.  ~hlu~

LOL! This is MT Spring snow, yes it is wet and heavy when it comes down. But now the sun is out and a lot of the snow is already melted. By day's end it will be all gone. Very different from Winter snow. Though it will be freezing tonight and ice will be a big issue tomorrow.

My biggest worry is that the irrigation ditch behind me and the seasonal creek on my side are already very full, flooding is a real possibility! So far so good, I hope the levels go down before the melt begins, if not I am in BIG trouble!!

109 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 93° and it is supposed to be a bit cooler with a high of 88° and getting windy later.
I have to leave soon for an MRI then back to do some cleaning up that I have been putting off.

121 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high was 51° with 3" of snow in overnight/morning hours then mostly sunny. Nearly all the snow gone by evening. Today's forecast is 66°/40° partly cloudy. Big difference from yesterday!

The water level around me has dropped about 6" so that worry is over. We have really nice weather coming by end of weekend!

123 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 66° today's will be cooler 61°/41° cloudy with a few showers but then it is going to warm up to the high 70's hitting 80° next week.

Going to really try again to take it really easy over the weekend. I need to start planning how I am going to do things one handed and get ready for it after surgery.  Anything I can stage prior I will get set up. Especially the cat feeding things. It is going to be interesting to say the least, but I sure am looking forward to my hands not hurting all the time!
