85 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 99° so not the predicted 100° but close enough and a 101° is predicted again for today.
Hope all goes well with your surgery Barbara and you get the relief you need from it.

94 this early morning (4am)!

Quick posts, doing it hunt and peck left handed. 62° was the high yesterday. zToday about the same as yesterday 69/41 except sunny all day.

Surgery went well, was home just after 10am. Just bandaids over incisions! Still numb from shots and definitely taking it easy rest of day.

119 this morning.

66° was the high yesterday, mostly clear. Today's forecast is 72°/48° with some clouds. Looks like decent weather for the next week with the exception of possible rain on Monday.

Nothing on the agenda today but taking it easy. I might see if I can handle a laundry but if it hurts at all it can wait. So glad the surgery is behind me now! And I know more what to expect of the other hand!

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 99° again so didn't get to the 100° mark yet but close enough.  It is supposed to be the same today but it looks like we will actually get to the 100° mark next week.  It's just a number but it does kind of mark where we are at this time and normal for this area.  We are used to temps around 100° to 110° in the summer but when it goes over 110° it is in the afternoon and time to stay inside where it is cool.
Glad the surgery went well Barbara.  Hope it heals quickly and you finally get the relief from it.

101 this morning.

The high yesterday was 70° it was mostly sunny which was nice. Today's forecast is 69°/47° cloudy with a brief rain shower AM which is actually happening right now!

Still going to take it easy. I know myself too well, this is the point in the healing process I tend to overdo!! I am not going there this time!! I'll gather the garbage and that is about all for the day.

84 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 98° and it is predicted to get to 99° today but the 100°+ temps are going to get here this week and we could see 110° by Wednesday so Summer weather is really here.

101 this drizzly morning.

My 75th birthday!  I never thought I'd make it this long!!

Yesterday was 69° and cloudy. Today's forecast is 69°/52° drizzly and maybe wind and thunderstorms in afternoon.

Just getting the garbage to the road is my only task today.

The other chocolate cake awaits for dinner!

95 this morning.  We finally hit the 100° mark yesterday and it is headed to 110° by Wednesday or Thursday but that should be the highest and then cool down just a bit.  One thing we rarely have to deal with is humidity so "it's a dry heat" does really apply and matter.

Happy Birthday Barbara, Mine is in June also just a few days from now on the 10th and yeah I also had doubts I would make it this long but here we are and I think that is good.

Thanks Wally!!  Yes, most definitely good!!!

I just got a call from the surgical nurse and she said I could drive if it didn't hurt and I felt safe doing it. Yay! I can call the dentist!!

ETA: 7PM drove the garbage up to the street. I am not ready for driving on the road at all!! No strength in rt hand and not good movement yet. It was a good test though...

I don't know how I missed it. Must be the travel related woes. BTW the Forum Calendar still shows your Birthday as 'Upcoming' though when I open it, the day has passed (my time).

Thanks skb! I did! I talked to both my kids and some of the grands and ate the second chocolate cupcake! Yum! Now we'll see what my bg tells me tonight! LOL...I don't care today!

101 this morning. That's 3 days in a row!!

59° was the high yesterday, cloudy all day with intermittent rain showers and a bit of wind. Kind of gloomy day but the sun is out today right now!  Today's forecast is 63°/48° mostly cloudy, but just maybe that part of the forecast may be wrong. It would be nice for a sunny day!

97 this morning.  We only got to 98° yesterday so not the predicted 101° but close enough.  It is supposed to get to 104° today so warming up a bit and sunny.
I woke up at 3:00 AM this morning and couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and now I am tired so not going to be doing much.

97 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 101° and it is supposed to get to 109° today.  I got a good nights sleep last night and feel a lot better today so I might get some things done that I have been putting off, maybe.  ;D
