Is the US financial year also from 1st April to 31st March or is it just because of the Quarter ending.

Financial year here is Jan 1 to Dec 31. Taxes are due by April 15 the following year.

92 this morning. We didn't get any rain yesterday except for a couple of sprinkles that just got the pavement wet but nothing measurable.
I had written a much longer post earlier but when I hit post the site went down and it was gone, oh well.

112 this showery morning.

64° was the high yesterday with showers, probably a lot less than an inch. Today's forecast is 55°/39° with light showers on and off.

Today is working on taxes, probably won't go out until Thursday...

Oh Boy, this has happened to you far too many times. I'll check if there are any Draft settings that I have not selected inadvertently.

This has happened to me a couple of times. I've written a post, hit Post and the site goes down.  What seems to work for me is to hit the Back button and it goes back to my post and then I hit post and it works. Doesn't work every time but more times than not.

85 this morning.  We got to 75° yesterday and heading to 80° today.  We will be in the 80s for a while.  This is right where I like it, T-shirt and shorts weather before it gets hot.
Yeah SKB, it hasn't really happened a lot and I did check drafts when I was able to get back in and nothing was there.  I didn't try to use the back button so maybe I will try that.  In the past it was usually my internet service that went down and not the forum but they have fixed the problems and I don't have interruptions any more.

107 this blue sky morning.

52° was the high yesterday with just a few sprinkles of rain. Today's forecast is 58°/32°.

Almost done with my taxes. Hope to take them in tomorrow. Just going to hang out here today.

Dang, I think I have 2 tigers that are preggers. I have got to see if any of the trap/neuter/release firms are open yet.

I checked the Draft settings and all the right checkboxes are ticked. I also have set the time at 30 seconds which is the minimum. So the s/w should auto-save a draft every 30 seconds. Yet, something seems to be not working. Maybe in the next upgrade the devs would have figured out the problem.

Another jump to 151 today.

82 this morning.  We got to 80° yesterday and should be the same today with some clouds.  Hoping we can stay in the 80s for April because it is going to get hotter in May.

When I was having problems with my internet service dropping out often I got into the habit of copying my post before hitting the post button but now I don't have the problem with my internet connection anymore so this surprised me.  Not a big deal but having a draft saved would be handy.

It seems that I am getting better each day from the sciatica.  It still is a problem but not as bad as before.  I don't know if the PT helped but honestly I feel better after stopping it.

112 this partly cloudy morning.

60° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 48°/33° with a tiny chance of rain.

Happy that you are beginning to feel better Wally!

Our good book, The Gita says "This too, shall pass" and most of us firmly believe in that. Once done, you will look back and think that you unnecessarily worried.

81 this morning.  We got to 80° again yesterday and it looks like that will be where we are for the next few days.  We may even get to 90° next week.
Good luck on your eye surgery Barbara.  I hope it goes as well as mine.  There was no pain at all and it was really quite easy.  The new lens made my vision great right at the start.  I don't know what the difference was but some people had a patch over their eye after the surgery but I had a clear plastic "bubble" over my eye to protect it from me accidentally poking my eye in my sleep that I took off the next day.  Because of that clear cover I could immediately see with the new lens.  I was awed on the drive home. Healing was quick and I could hardly wait to have the other eye done.  I could not believe how washed out things had become because of the cataracts and with the new lens all of the colors became vibrant again.

116 this partly cloudy morning.

50° was the high yesterday but it was windy and felt much colder when I was out. Today's forecast is55°/27° there is a 60% chance of rain but it sure doesn't look like it will happen.

I am trying to tell myself it will all go fine with the surgeries and I will be happy to see better. Positive thinking I hope woll get me through the days to come. I ran into another person yesterday that had both eyes done in Dec last year. She said the drugs they give you make you so relaxed you don't even care they are working on your eye. Hope that works for me!

Yeah, they gave me a valium before the surgery and it does really relax you and that helps a lot.

Thanks for that! Ironically I have my own copy of the Bhagavad Gita and also the Upanishads. I read them years ago before my trip to India. Information in the brain, not readily retrievable.
