121 this windy morning.

Yesterday's high was 65° cloudy and drizzly all day. Today's forecast is 73°/44° cloudy/sunny and windy too. At least no rain!

Aiming for another quiet, restful day!

102 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 107° and it is supposed to be 110° today.  I am posting a bit early this morning.  I have an appointment for an ultrasound of my thyroid for a one year follow up because they found nodules on my thyroid last year.  The doctor did a biopsy twice that came out negative but still wanted to do a one year follow up so I guess I will go along with it.  I am really getting tired of all of the testing but then I guess it is important.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

97 this sunshiny morning.

Yesterday was 71°, today is going to be 84°/50° and sunny! Nice weather for the next couple of days.

Just the trip to town on the agenda for today. Then back to taking it easy for a few more days at least.

ETA Yeah I hear you on all the "tests"! My liver monitoring has now been pushed to once a year vs every 6 months.  Glad your results have been negative, hope they stay that way.

108 this sunny morning.

79°was the high yesterday, todays forecast is 84°/50° with sun. Looks to be a gorgeous day!

My hand is feeling pretty good. Almost full movement, but still weak and some stretches hurt, but all in all very happy with result.

94 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 108° yesterday and it is supposed to be the same today.  It may cool down just a bit on the weekend but not much.  Normal for the desert in June and the overnight low was 82° so we need the AC during the night. 
Yeah this ultrasound is a follow up to see if any change from a year ago and hopefully it hasn't.  There were nodules on my thyroid from another test my cardiologist had me take and this showed up so I was referred to this ENT and she did the biopsies which came out negative but she still wanted to do the follow up.  I will see her next week for the results.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

97 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 107° and it is supposed to be a bit cooler today at 104° but then that is still hot.  We may see a slight cooling trend next week but still around 100°.

If it gets much warmer I just might have to try out my new A/C!!   ~ cat ~

120 this morning.

Yesterday was 81°, today is supposed to be cooler 80°/53° and partly cloudy. Other than tracking the kittens and getting the garbage together, I'm taking it easy today.

My hand is feeling pretty good, strength still not quite at 100% but I can feel that the locking is gone and fingers move smoothly.

88 this morning, salad for dinner really is good for bg. Our high yesterday was 104° and it is supposed to be a bit cooler at 100° today but then warming up a bit next week. 
Glad your hand is doing well Barbara.  It sounds like the surgery really helped.

111 this morning.

78° was high yesterday, today about the same, 78°/47° more sun today though. It should warm up some into the mid 80's but some rain next weekend...

This week it is hand surgeon Tuesday and Ophthalmologist on Thursday for my annual check up. I may not need them, but I am ready for a change of glasses!

90 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 98° but it is going to get a bit warmer the next few days and back over the 100° range.
Nothing much going on this week but I do have an appointment for a follow up with my cardiologist and the ENT on Wednesday. 
I had my eye exam a couple of months ago and I didn't need new glasses but mine were getting worn and scratched so I got new ones and it is nice to have them and it did make a difference.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

75° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 83°/47°. Looks like a really nice day ahead.

I'm kind of looking forward to eye appointment Thursday to seeing some new choices for glasses!!

88 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 101° and it is supposed to be a warmer 108° today.
Yeah Barbara it was a good thing for me to get new glasses at my last appointment.  Last year my regular optometrist was out having a baby so I ended up going to the optometrist at Walmart and I got glasses there and yes, they were cheaper but I found out why.  They were nowhere as good as the glasses you get at the office of my regular optometrist.  Also she gives me a much better and thorough exam than what I got from the Walmart optometrist.  I have VSP insurance so it helps with the cost of new glasses.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

Yeah, I agree! My friend is trying to get me to try Eyemart for my glasses as they are so much cheaper than at my Ophthalmologist's. I'll stick with my guy as he can handle medical issues besides just exams and glasses. And definitely the the glasses are much better quality! She says "but you can get the glasses in an hour"....um sure, but quality glasses??? I think not.

She's a great friend, but that is not advice I am going to take. And I don't have any optical ins. just the Medicare Diabetes exam is covered. So it is all out of pocket but so worth it for quality glasses!
