Boy, it seems like we both are spending a lot of time lately at the doctor's office Wally! As long as they are just visits, we're doing just fine!! LOL, one of the downers of getting old...  ~ cat ~

86° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 84°/51° and sunny.

Off in a bit for eye appt., my friend is going to come over while I am gone and monitor the traps.

101 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 104° and it is supposed to be 101° today so just a bit cooler. One of the big problems when it is so hot is getting back into your car after it has been outside.  It is so hot the AC takes a long time to cool it down and the steering wheel is so hot it is hard to hold on to it.  I have to wear gloves to be able to hold on to it to drive. 
Yeah Barbara it seems like going to the doctors is the only thing I go out for anymore.  On the good side both of my appointments yesterday were positive and the cardiologist is happy with all of my test results and the ENT had good news on the thyroid nodules as the biggest one has actually shrank and just wants to do a follow up in a year.  I am feeling good about that.

114 this morning. I'm finding my sweet spot to take fasting is before 6AM. After that DP begins kicking in but at least not as bad as before I got somewhat back on track...

Finally a few days I can string in a row with no dr appts!! It will be nice just to stay home and search for kittens and get my business in order!

94 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 101° and it is supposed to be a warmer 107° today but it feels pretty much the same, hot.
Nothing much planned for today which I am OK with.

80° was the high yesterday. It is cooling today, forecast just 60°/37° with some clouds.

Hopefully another quiet day to rest. No plans for anything except maybe a load of laundry.

93 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 105° yesterday and it is going to be the same today but cooling down a bit next week and under 100° but not by much.

121 this morning.

64° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 64°/49° with a possible Winter Storm watch for tonight (3AM) for the possibility of up to 3" of snow in my valley area! I believe it could happen, has happened in years gone by...

My hope today is just to catch this last kitten. Just spoke to my friend and she is pretty sure the two I've already caught are from different litters. The last 3 cats TNR took care of had given birth but looked like they were done nursing. Looks like maybe the dr was a bit mistaken... The 2 are doing well eating and playing so that is good.

98 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 102° and it is supposed to be the same today then "cooling down" to the high 90s next week, and you are looking at a chance of snow Barbara, wow!
Nothing on my schedule until Friday when I have to travel out of town for a prostrate MRI my urologist wants me to have due to elevated PSA so I will have to see what that shows.

Yes, snow is not unheard of, but not that often this late in June! I really would like a nice week of Spring before we get to Summer!!

Thank goodness, just rain so far, no snow at my elevation. Can't see the mountains as they are covered with clouds. Warning in effect until 11AM, but don't expect any snow at this point.

Yesterday was 64°, today's forecast is 50°/39° cloudy with rain light showers.

Garbage up the road is all I have on agenda, besides trying to catch last kitten.

97 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 101° and it is supposed to be a bit cooler at 97° today, hey, the same as my BG this morning!  Yeah, Spring has passed here and it is definitely Summer.
As is normal there have been several wild fires and high winds are making them dangerous.  One is causing damage to the State Park I used to work at and had blackened over 15,000 acres and is not near containment.  On the plus side so far there has been only one structure damaged and no injuries. It only takes a small spark to start one of these and the high winds cause them to get big.

Well, I just got this from the Weather Channel in my e-mail:

Good Morning. They're calling it Juneuary in the Northwest, as cold air fed by a dip in the jet stream brought snow to Oregon's Mount Hood and unseasonable weather all around the region this weekend. Now, believe it or not, the National Weather Service is warning that higher elevations in parts of western Montana could see up to 15 inches of snow over the next day or so, which could catch motorists traversing mountain passes off guard.

I haven't seen that prediction but I totally believe it! I can't see the mountains on the ID/MT border out my back windows due to clouds. But I do expect to see a lot of snow up there. Fortunately at my elevation, 3,323', it is still just rain. No more mention of snow here though.

My area is called "The Banana Belt" because weather is usually milder here in this valley than most other parts of the state. I'm hoping we dodge any more snow for this season...
