107 this morning. Our high yesterday was 92° and that is more like where I like it. It should be getting even cooler in the next few days.

I slept in a bit later this morning and it has taken me a while to get going but I am sure I needed it. Really nothing much on my schedule today, next week will be busy with medical appointments.

120 this morning.

61° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 73°/37° and sunny. It was 32° when I went out to feed the kitties at 7:20am this morning. Temp still holding well inside their house at 48° this morning. Days are still warm enough to heat up the inside.

Interesting time with gal from crystal shop. She loved so much and was bouncing around like a kid in a candy store touching and holding so many things. She left a deposit of $750 of which she spent $241 so still has a balance. She asked if I would be exclusive to her and I said sure! I am so relieved that these beautiful crystals and minerals will finally get out to their new owners to be loved and appreciated!! I really gave her a deal, sold well below my cost, but that is OK otherwise they would still be sitting here!!

103 this morning. Our high yesterday was 93° and it is supposed to be 91° today so slowly getting cooler. We should be into the 80s during the week so better.
This week in going to be busy with doctors appointments and lab work so not thrilled about that but oh well.

110 this morning.

Another 32° when I went out to feed kitties this morning, but their house was 48°! Yesterday's high was 62° and smoky! Rain in forecast later this week hope it finally puts an end to these fires. Today's forecast is 75°/37°. The Winter Forecasts are starting to come out, but I'm not putting much stock in them at this point.

The irrigation ditch behind me closed this morning so the seasonal creek on the side of my house also goes way down to almost a trickle for the rest of the season. Once the mud dries up or freezes enough the cat's range will increase for a while until the snow comes and keeps them closer to home.

Garbage up to the road and a quick PO and grocery run about all that I have on the agenda. Hopefully it will be a quiet day...

97 this morning. Our high yesterday was 91° and it should be the same today. It should start to get even cooler this week.  ;D
Off in a bit to have my claws clipped and probably getting a chest X-ray for my cardiologist. The anesthesiologist wants a clearance from my cardiologist before my colonoscopy next month so I have tests to take before his clearance. I didn't need to do this before my last one but I guess it is a good thing, just a lot of bother but oh well.
Glad you made the connection Barbara. It is better to get something for your collection than just have them sitting around.

Thanks Wally, that is the exact thought I had. All these crystals have just been gathering dust for around 10 yrs so better to get something for them than nothing. Every piece has the price I paid for it up to 15 years ago, and I hope she pays attention to the difference between what she paid and understands the deal she is getting.

Many of the items come from mines that are no longer even active and many are a better quality than the material that is now coming from the same mines at this date. Add to that there is so much Chinese fake stuff out there diluting the market, my specimens are of even greater value now than when I purchased them. But it is time to let them go regardless....

130 this morning (at 7:03am) no idea why so high...oh well...
 
65° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 71°/37° and clear. (32° at feeding time 7:15am.) It is supposed to get much colder, 40's during the day and some rain starting tomorrow, It is still so smoky, hope that clears it out at last.

Today I plan to take it easy!!

108 this morning. Our high yesterday was 90° and it is supposed to be the same today but still getting cooler this week.

My weather station console died so I am getting my local weather from Weather Underground using a nearby weather station so it is pretty much the same as mine. I guess I have to get another console for mine. Well, it is about 5 years old so not surprised.

I need to go to the office of my dermatologist today and have my stitches taken out today and tomorrow I have two appointments and then Thursday I got an appointment with the hand surgeon to see about the lump on my hand so busy.

You weren't kidding about a lot of dr appts this week! Hope next week you can take it easy.

I find Weather Underground comes closest to my actual weather too. Even the "local" up in town station is not quite as close. I look at 2-3 sites and do like WU best.

Fortunately for me this month is pretty light dr wise. I have a bone density test on the 24th and get my "claws" trimmed the 29th. Easy peasy as far as drs go!

128 this morning.

I got busy inside and missed the high last I checked it was 58° at 6:30PM, it probably was low 60's for a high. Today's forecast is 55°/36° partly cloudy with showers or snow in the PM.   30° as I go out to feed the cats.

Talked to my pump guy yesterday, he said end of this week or beginning of next he will be here to re-insulate my pump house. He also picked up an oil heater for the kitty house/garage. The crystal money came just in time!

Nothing on agenda today.

101 this morning. Our high yesterday was 91° and it is supposed to be 90° today then we will really start to cool down and should be in the 70s by the weekend.  ;D

I ordered a new console for mw weather station yesterday but it will be a week before it gets here. I opted for free shipping and taking a week is OK. The nearby station I am using is only about two blocks away and follows mine pretty close so good with that. I still want to have mine operating, it keeps a record and I like that.

Yeah two appointments today. First is a follow up with my urologist and then later I am having  an echo cardiogram for my cardiologist. Tomorrow I see the hand surgeon then Friday nothing!

122 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 52°, today's forecast is 46°/26° it is raining now and supposed to the rest of the morning then cloudy, showers with possible snow this evening. It is supposed to clear up some tomorrow through the weekend then more showers Monday, then dry again. It is 40° and raining now as I head out to feed the kitties.

Not much on the agenda today....

116 this morning. Our high yesterday was 90° and it is supposed to be 85° today so finally into the 80s and it looks like that will be where we are for the next few days, even maybe into the 70s.

Off in just a few to the hand doctor to see what he thinks about this lump on my hand.

127 this morning.

47° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 51°/32°. Woke up to 25° and freezing fog. I'm waiting for a bit of light before I go out to feed thr kitties.

The rain yesterday brought a lot of leaves down. If it stays dry a few days the raking will begin.

103 this morning. Our high yesterday was 90° again and the wind really picked up in the afternoon and blew hard all night. Today it is supposed to still be windy, not a fan of that, and the high is supposed to be 76° so a pretty big drop. If the overnight lows get cold enough we may start to see the leaves start to change finally.

My visit with the hand doctor was about what I expected. The big lump is not considered dangerous but he could remove it if it becomes a problem. He wants me to measure it each month and if it grows or if it changes or starts to hurt to see him and follow up in a year if nothing changes. it is kind of an ugly thing but it doesn't really bother me that much and there is no pain so I guess I will just live with it for now.
