As you can probably remember from last Winter and others, 15° is nothing compared to where it will be in January/Feb!! I just hope we don't have the 2 week span of double digit minus temps this Winter!!

106 this morning. 17° and freezing fog again this 7:15am.

Yesterday's high was 28°, iit never got above freezing and the fog never burnt off. The Inversion is supposed to dissipate in a couple more days. Hopefully we'll see a bit warmer temps for a bit. Today's forecast is 43°/27° and again freezing fog and clouds.

More nothing planned but something always comes up, for today.  ~ cat ~

Time to bundle up and get a jug of hot water to thaw outside water dishes....

82 this morning. Our high yesterday was 75° so even warmer than the predicted 71° and it is supposed to be 72° today. I am enjoying it now and it is supposed to cool down quite a bit next week and be in the low 60s to high 50s so more like December weather but still no rain in sight for the next few days.

Yeah, I don't have anything planned for today but may get energetic and try to get some things done that I have been putting off.

115 this morning. 18° this AM and freezing fog again, but the Inversion is breaking today .

Yesterday's high again was 28°. With the inversion breaking, temps are supposed to warm a bit, today's forecast is 47°/32° but freezing rain expected in evening through the night. I'm not going anywhere, but driving will be bad.

Again not much on agenda for today but little projects always manage to appear throughout the day.

87 this morning. Our high was 73° and it is supposed to be 70° today then we are supposed to be cooling down a bit to the mid to low 60s. Not cold but a bit cooler. Nothing like what you are seeing Barbara.

A bit late to the party today. I don't usually eat breakfast but I do on the weekends and today I had fried eggs and bacon and the clean up took a bit of time.

Another 115 this morning. Late to post...

Really windy over night, blew out the pilot light on fireplace and had the cats all on edge do taking care of business came first! 32° out side but feels like 24°.

Yesterday's high was 42°, today's forecast is 40°/26° with AM snow showers and late night snow showers. It feels like it could snow outside right now but the sky is clearing so maybe not...

Today is garbage collecting day for pick up tomorrow. If it looks like I'll have room I'll shred even more documents to add to the pile!

97 this morning. Our high yesterday was 72° and it is supposed to start to cool down a bit now into the mid to low 60s so cooler but not cold yet.
I am not sure what I will be doing today, it just depends on how energetic I feel. I have been putting off doing an upgrade to my desktop computer and have a new processor and another SSD drive to install but so far I have not gotten the ambition to get it done.

99 this morning. Our high yesterday was 66° and the overnight low was 33° and it is going to get a bit cooler in the next couple of days with lows in the 20s.

I am off in a bit for an appointment with another PA that is taking place of the PA I saw last time that took the place of my primary that left the practice. I am not too happy about this but right now all of the doctors at this facility are not taking any new patients so it could take a long time to get seen by one. The hospital has contracted with a new doctor to take over my previous primary's patients but is not expected to get here until August. Oh well, I guess this will have to do for now.

112 this lightly snowing morning.

Yesterday's high was 40°, today's forecast is 38°/23° with light snow in the morning. It is very light and dry so sweeps off the porches easily, thank goodness.

Good luck with the PA Wally, hopefully your new dr will be worth the wait!!

And we in Mumbai had the coldest day in 9 years at 13.7oC (56.6oF)
Would any of you wear a jacket at this temp ?  see many here wearing thin jackets in the early morning.

LOL, that is practically short sleeve weather here! I run warm, it takes really low temps to get me cold enough for a jacket. I'm good with long sleeves/sweatshirt, etc to about 20°F, for short trips outside. Below that I'm in a fleece zip up jacket. The down coat doesn't come out until below 0°.

Exactly what I thought. I think temp tolerance is very genetic. My family hails from a very cold place (Rawalpindi, now in Pakistan) and I have a very good tolerance for cold. I had visited near the Croatian border with my daughter and family in January 2017. It was snowing heavily and the temp was -20oC but I was OK with a very light jacket. But with age things have changed slightly.

I have always believed this too!! Though I grew up in the SF Bay Area in CA., I was born in Wisconsin and generations of my family too.  When I met my second husband and started going up into the Sierras to his weekend cabin, this was reinforced when I was there for the first snowfall I had ever been in. I had this inexplicable feeling inside that I was "home" it felt so comforting and so right to me. I guess my WI roots were lying dormant all the years and became felt in that moment. That is one reason I really don't have a problem with the cold here in MT I think, I am born and bred to live in the cold.... and I am miserable in any temps above 85°F (29.4°C)!

120 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 38° with periods of sun. Today's forecast is 41°/22° and cloudy. Very warm temps for this time of year predicted through this week. It is unusual for there not to have been at least one several inch snow fall here in the valley's by this time of year. But I'll take it for now, Jan and Feb can be the worst.

Well, the crystal lady wants to start coming again on Mondays to shop and just learn more about the crystals. At least I don't have to seek out some one else to sell to. I am made it fairly clear in a nice way it wasn't going to be a "give away" any longer as what remains are really valuable items. But there would be some deals too.  I'll see how that goes....

94 this morning. Our high yesterday was 63° and it is supposed to be 58° today. I don't wear a heavy jacket at these temps but I do put on a warm shirt to go outside. I do have warmer jackets that I use when it gets colder. I prefer it when the temp is warmer and heat is my friend but I do think it is what you are used to.

My appointment yesterday was OK and I did get my prescriptions renewed. This was with another temporary PA that took the place of the temp PA that I saw last time. I hope that there will be a doctor that I can get with before too long but I do have specialist that I see that take care of other things like my cardiologist, gastro and podiatrist so I am covered for those.

Another wild fire has broken out in Malibu last night and because of high winds and dry conditions it is out of control and is in an area of very expensive homes.
