117 this drizzly morning.

81° was the high yesterday today's forecast is 76°/50° with scattered thunderstorms. The wet is welcome and hopefully will keep any fire danger from fireworks away.

Thanks Wally! I do feel better, finished the last of my ginger tea this morning and tummy seems fine. Will still keep food neutral another day just to be sure.

Back to base. Haven't checked BG because in remote areas the food choices are minimal and had to eat whatever was dished out. Hope to be in "normal" range in a couple of days. It has been raining very heavily here as well as where I had been.

106 this morning.  We had a high of 95° yesterday and probably the same today without the wind.  Today it is a big day for BBQs to celebrate the Holliday along with fireworks.  We will be using the outside grill but no fireworks, although the neighbors will be setting them off so the poor dog will be inside hiding, usually under my desk.

118 this partly cloudy morning. I have decided that the 4th is my least favorite holiday as it seems to last about a week with all the booms!

71° was the high yesterday with one big thunderstorm passing through mid afternoon. It did rain overnight, the puddles left told me so... Today's forecast is 73°/50° again with chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

There was a guy mowing a neighbor's field yesterday so I went and asked him if he could mow my driveway. He came over and did a good job, turns out he is the husband of said neighbor's ex-wife. I'll have him back in a couple of weeks to do the rest of my yard.

109 this morning.  We had a high of 96° yesterday and did grill outdoors but not hamburgers, did a pork loin instead on the Traeger, yum.   ~bbq~
It was not too bad with the fireworks last night.  There were a couple of booms but not nearly as much as in the past.  Dog is doing just fine.
Glad you found someone to mow your yard Barbara.

118 this mostly sunny morning.

71° was the high yesterday, one quick thunderstorm blew through. Today's forecast is 81°/44° no rain but tomorrow may have thunderstorms.

I like this yard guy because it is only him. The other I used to use came with 4 helpers that made so much noise even I was disturbed, let alone the kitties.

107 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 97° and it is supposed to get to 98° today. Actually pretty nice for here in July.  Wind is only a slight breeze which is welcome.

123 this morning. Yeah, one of those days I just woke up early...

78° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 85°/48° with possible thunderstorms.

Tomorrow I go pick up Azure Standard.com order the process is exhausting. Also run a couple other errands.Hopefully weather will cooperate.

Is that the food order delivery in parking lot ? Sounded way too long the last time. 118 today. I think it will remain there the next couple of days as well.

Yes, once a month delivery. They do dry foods first, then cold then at the end frozen. It is tedious but the prices are good and unlike Hungry Root things are delivered in a refrigerated truck so are kept frozen. I probably won't do it next month as I still have things from last month. But I could do it every other month and deal with the chaos. The thing is almost all the foods are organic which is a plus.

I have a Hive.com order coming Saturday which is basically pantry items. I'm working on getting the shopping down as much as possible. I really need to get going with Chewy.com and I'll be set...

100 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 97° and heading to 102° today.  It looks like we will be over 100° for the next few days.
Yesterday was a real trial.  I had put in an order for pickup at Walmart to be picked up between 11:00AM an 12:00PM and was just getting ready to leave at 11 and got a call that I had an appointment at 11 for an ultrasound.  I let them know that I had not been advised of that and they said someone left me a voicemail but I never got a voicemail or call and I checked my phone and nope, no voicemail so if someone called they must have had the wrong number.  They asked me if I could come in anyway so I told them I had to pick up an order first and they said they would wait so I went to Walmart and their  system was down and they had no idea when my order would be ready, sheeze!  So I went to the appointment and had the ultrasound and that was over around 12:45 so I went back to Walmart and they were still having problems but said my order was being picked and would be ready in about 10 min. so I decided to wait.  Sitting in my car at 95° it took 1/2 hour to finally get my order brought out to my car.  Not a fun way to spend my day.  usually the pickup order at Walmart goes really well but this is the second time there was a system problem.
I apparently am still on the email list for the old former forum and I got one yesterday so I decided to check in to see how it was doing.  There were very few posts and they boast of having 32,000 members but it looks like maybe 4-5 have posted and not very often.  I think that social media sites have become the place most people have gone to and forums like ours are not being used like they used to.

124 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high was 80°, today's forecast is 86°/50° with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. I hope not as that is when I will be standing put waiting for my Azure delivery.

Sounds like a very frustrating day Wally.

That is quite true, what you said about all kinds of forums. I have also checked out the old site as a Guest and found that very few people post now and all the old hands have left or are missing.

120 this morning. Going to tighten the screws a bit about what goes in my mouth.

At this point I have had no desire to go back to the old forum. I understand forums are a dying breed I'm here till the last one dies!!
