128 this sunny morning.

89° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 98°/56° but hoping it stays in the 80's. I think the reporting station may be not quite in my area.

I was in so much pain yesterday, see Exercise thread, I think that may be some of the reason my numbers went so much higher last night and today's fasting.

Well, my Amazon order is "supposed" to be delivered today...I'll believe it when I see it!!

I'm definitely on the mend but not out of the woods yet. The cold will now turn into congestion and cough and take some time coming out. My preparation of liposomal Vitamin C, which I call MaxC helps, so I've started taking double doses already.

85 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 107° but it is going to be cooler today with the chance of thunderstorms.  It will be a pretty small chance here but still a chance.
I got the new keyboard for my new iPad yesterday.  It is not the Apple "Magic Keyboard" but a third party one I got on Amazon.  It was $97 instead of the $300 Apple charges and it is pretty cool.  It has a row of function keys that the Apple one doesn't and it has a magnetic clasp that holds the pencil to keep it safe which the Apple keyboard doesn't have and it is easy to lose it.  So it is a keyboard and a case which is a bit heavier than just a case it works quite well and turns the iPad into a small computer.

103 this sunny morning. Neck better, knee better but assorted other aches form awkward ways I sit/sleep/move.

Hope you recover quickly skb!

It got to 91° yesterday, ugh! Had to initiate extra window coverings (cardboad coverings under the sheers). I have a wall mount ac but last time I used it it seemed to be shorting out circuits on that side of the house, it is old, so I don't use it. Today's forecast is 100°/53° oh man hope it doesn't go there! The forecast seems to be higher usually than the temp I actually get, so fingers crossed.

I don't tolerate heat well, from the 10 day forecast looks lik about 4 more days of this awful heat then back to something somewhat tolerable. I really dislike Summer!

eta: sounds pretty cool Wally. Enjoy your new toy. :)

Yep, enjoy the toy, Wally.

Those highs of 100o are an annual feature or it is just this year that you are seeing them? I read about some wild fires and evacuations in Montana as well but I think this area is far away from you.

I don't really watch the news and I haven't heard of any fires near here thank goodness. We do have a lot of fires but this was a wet Spring so most things are still green. Of course after this heat spell things may change.

103 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 106° but it is cloudy and cooler today.  Today we have the best chance of a thunderstorm so I am hoping to get at least some rain today.
SKB, Temps over 100° are the normal for here in the Summer and wildfires have become the normal also due to the heat and the drought.
I apparently have come down with something, tight and sore chest and tired.  Feeling a bit better today but still not good. I'm going to take it easy today.

Thanks skb. I am in Western MT, but that fire is way north of me. No threat to me at all, but there will be others. It reminds me I have to get my yard cleared ASAP though.

119 this sunny morning. Maybe I got up too early abd my body had not finished its job of clearing sugar yet???

91° ended up being the high yesterday, today's forecast is again for a high of 100° with overnight of 52°. I'll take another 91° if possible...

Hope you feel better quickly Wally!

The Advil has helped my knee, my neck is much better with only a few aches once in a while. I am still on take it easy mode. I'm not pushing to get the steps, they just happen. Doing another Advil day, may be the last, then will see what happens with knee.

Your part of the US has that temperature is well known, but MT was something new for me.

I've been down with that for the past 3-4 days now. This has started happening to me after a gap of 12 years on our WoE basically because I have been far far away from our dietary regimen. I'm tired of eating the same things again and again and need some fresh mental push.

81 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 100° which is quite low for Summer but the humidity is also higher than usual.  We actually got some rain last night that helps keep the humidity higher.  Right now the humidity is 68% but the temp. is only 77°.
I am feeling better and breathing easier now so what ever I had it is apparently going away.  I have an appointment with my primary this afternoon so it will be interesting to see what she has to say.

117 this sunny morning.

91° was the hig here yesterday, today's forecast is 99°/54°. Yes skb, we do have periods of high heat here, they aren't typical like in Wally's area and they don't usually last long periods. Not every Summer but more than enough for me!!

The only thing I am doing today is take the garbage to the head of the road and get a package out of my mailbox that as sat there for almost a week. First time I've felt comfortable driving.

Knee is really feeling better (Advil?) neck better each day so guess I will keep up the Advil one more day... tomorrow I need to go out to get more strips and a small shopping for things I can't order online like eggs. Waiting until tomorrow as it will be cooler.

Me too. I have only doubled my dose of Vitamin C for the past 2 days. Other than that I did not take any "medication".

86 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 100° and we did get a sprinkle but just enough to get the pavement wet.  Surrounding areas though got pretty drenched and the lightening detector on my weather station recorded 55 lightening strikes that were nearby.
I am feeling better and my breathing is back to normal but I am feeling more tired than usual.  My appointment with my primary yesterday didn't really come to any conclusions but I will have more tests and follow up.  I have also been taking the Liposomal vitamin C.
