44° was the high yesterday, today is going to be cooler with a forecast of 36°/22°. No rain or snow in forecast for next 10 days (at this point anyway).

For some reason, my knee was very achy yesterday, seems better today.

I don't need a test to know that I have it but so far it is just a bad cough and congested chest.  I think being vaccinated and boosted will keep me from getting worse but I would be really happy to get over it.

Dr. Peter Attia says that the world will be saved from Covid-19 because of the Omicron variant. Almost everyone's had it and the symptoms are so mild that it can be confused with the common cold and the flu. I had it around the 3rd week of Dec but didn't test. My wife and mother got it a week later. Wife tested and was positive. Now we are all out of it. Yes, all 3 are double vaccinated. Now I am getting messages for a booster which many have taken but I am avoiding so far for other reasons.

That would be a wonderful resolution to this whole nightmare. Could it really be that simple? I do have my doubts as who knows what the next variant may be?

I am still not vaxxed as I am terrified of the chance of anaphylaxis. If you have never experienced it, you have no idea how terrifying it is.

So far I do have some coughing but no temp and only go out 2-3 times a month, no taste or smell issues. So far what I am doing is working.

I do have to go to the Gastro at the end of the month and Optometrist mid Feb, may cancel if I don't feel safe.

41° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 39°/19°.

Dang, I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. Put a bucket under it and will get water from one of my 3 bathrooms until I feel it is safe to have a repair person come in.

Well, that's weird. I wrote a post and thought I hit the post button but it is not here, not in drafts either so ?  93 this morning.  The wind is gone and it looks to be a pretty nice day with the temp in the mid 60s.
Not normal for January but there is a wildfire started on the Northern California coast and because of the high winds it is a problem with evacuations in progress.  Hopefully with the winds abating they will get control of it. 
Yeah, the omicron variant is milder but it is still putting people in the hospital and because there are so many being infected it is causing problems in some areas.  It may be mild for a lot of people but there are still many that will have a problem with it.  I just hope that I can get over this soon.

Yes that fear is always there. One thing is for sure, whatever this is, it is man-made. So much so for scientific progress.

85 this morning.  Yeah, a wildfire in January is pretty rare but it had been dry this month and they had very high winds that drove it.  Right now it is at 700 acres and 35% contained. 
Kind of a rough night last night but better this morning.  I am trying to get an appointment with the spine specialist and am waiting for a call back.

93 this morning.  The fire on the Northern California coast near Big Sur is now 40% contained and the weather conditions look quite favorable so full containment may be soon.
I did get an appointment with an orthopedic doctor next week so I will see what that has to offer.  I am getting a lot better with the congestion and cough so I think I am getting over the covid.  People have been recovering from 3-5 days for some and 2-3 weeks for others.  I still have a bit of a cough but not nearly as bad as when it started.  They say what ever doesn't kill you makes you stronger so maybe it is a good thing.

139 this cloudy morning. Not sure where that came from...didn't sleep well last night so may that contributed.

32° was the high yesterday, less than an inch of new snow, so much for that 10 day forecast! The current 10 day shows no snow, but not sure I believe it.

Glad you are getting over the Covid Wally and hope you can get some answers when you see the Orthopedic Dr.

Last night had some grilled chicken and potatoes on the side. 168 this morning. Some of it is from the juice I have before testing.

Yeah Wally that is so true. As I get older and don't do many things differently I notice un-understandable readings in my bg, maybe my body is saying just go with the flow...?

94 this morning.  They are getting closer to containment of the fire near Big Sur on the Northern California coast.  it was started from someone burning weeds on a vacant lot.  Pretty stupid as there were high winds at the time that spread it.  There were 500 people evacuated but I don't know if there were any structures damaged.
Yeah Barbara, sometimes go with the flow is probably the best thing.
