110 this partly cloudy morning.

91° was the high yesterday, under forecast made me happy. Today's forecast is 91°/57° here's hoping it means # will be in the 80's.

Have to run out for a couple quick errands, looks like I picked a good day. Knee feeling so good and neck almost back to normal. Going to wean off the Advil tody and see what happens.

Wally, what brand of the Liposomal vitamin C do you use? I looked at Amazon and had no idea what to choose. Thanks!

I'm sorry, it is a huge link but you can copy and paste it.  I tried to use the "insert a link" that SKB uses and it will not work for me.  I guess I need a tutorial on how to use it, anyway, this is what I have been using and it is in capsule form.  I don't know how much more effective it is but it sounded good.  SKB has his "home brew" and I don't know if this is the same, or near the same but I figured it was worth a try.

Another question for you. I have a bunch of One Touch Ultra strips I won't be using any more. Would they be something you could use? Happily pass them on. I am loving my True Metrix meter and bjy my own strips.

Yes I do make my own liposomal vitamin C using an ultrasonic cleaner. There are lots of videos on YouTube with instructions on how to do that. I don't know how effective the capsule or the powdered versions are, but they are available on many sites.

And I do believe in this magic potion. Unfortunately, my ingredients having been sourced from the US were out of reach for almost all of 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. I tried the Indian raw materials but they didn't work. I'm thankful that trade has opened up and I can source my products freely again.

82 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 103° and it should be the same today but cloudy.
I tried to do the link just like you show it SKB but it didn't work for me.  I copied and pasted the link where it shows, put my description "Link" in that box then when I click o n insert it put the whole URL there?  I'll try it again when I have a link to post.
No Barbara, I am using the Contour Next meter and it is connected to my phone.  I really like this meter and no longer use the One Touch.

Yeah SKB, that is how I tried to do it but it just put the link I copied and pasted there.  I will try it again next time.
I don't know how the capsules sold on Amazon are compared to your home made version but it seemed worth it to try it out.

Another 91° for the high, I'll take that over the forecast. Had some wind and clouds that help keep it down. Today's forecast is 92°/48°, so hopefully it will be in the 80's here.

Feeling better overall appetite even seems to be coming back. Maybe the lack of constant pain? Though I don't want to keep using the Advil much longer...

Got the dried sardines earlier today, they are awful!! But the kitties seem to like them so they will be kitty treats.

Sorry you can't use the strips Wally. Any ideas what to do with all the strips I am not going to be using?

Gosh Barbara, I don't really know for sure but you could probably sell them on ebay or maybe there is somewhere you could donate them.  It would be a shame to throw them out but that may be your only choice.

The only reason that can happen is if the 2nd window is left blank. But I think you have understood the technique.

I don't know if the shortcut is really necessary. I clicked on the long link in Wally's post and it took me right to the page. When the time comes we have more members this probably would probably a good thing to know how to do.

93 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 106° and it is supposed to be a bit cooler today at 102° but the humidity is high for here at around 40% and about a 35% chance of rain. 
I saw my Cardiologist yesterday and everything looks good except he noticed that I have some edema on my legs so now I have to take a couple of "water" pills and see him again in a couple of months.  I have no idea why I am retaining water but it is just one more thing. 
I'm not sure why I had a problem using the tool to post a link but I wanted to try it out because I think it is cool but the copy and paste here does work, it just looks unwieldy.

85° was the high yesterday which kind of proves my idea the forecast is not that near to me. Today's forecast is 91°/64°. Again hoping for mid 80's.

Wally maybe the water retention has something to do with your not walking as much as you used to be able to do. Hope you get it resolved quickly.
