96 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 107°, the weather guys said it was going to start to cool down a bit but they were wrong.
I am up late today.  I had a head ache last night that kept me awake, finally got up at 2:00 AM and took a couple of Tylenol and went back to bed and didn't wake up until 8:00 AM.  I am usually up between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM.  I never get head aches but this one was a doozy, feel fine now, just still a bit tired.

121 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high was 88°, today's forecast is 99°/62°.

The bug people are coming to spray outside today. I hope they don't scare my kitties all away.

Glad you are feeling better Wally.

Any idea where that came from. Do you have a cold or any bad sleeping lately ? But it is good that you caught up and are refreshed.

89 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 102° and it is supposed to get to 101° today but it is going to warm up a bit starting tomorrow.  Bright and sunny today with no wind.
No SKB, I have no idea where the headache came from, it is rare for me to have one and that one was bad.  I had a good nights sleep last night and feel much better.

132 this partly cloudy morning. Kind of afraid of what my A1c will be this time. My numbers have been bouncing all over the map the last few months.

One good thing is I will finally pick up my new glasses. I'll do some shopping between blood draw and appointment too.

There is something with the software that inserts my 'Quote for the Day' pic in the fasting threads as well. It has happened too many times, but I have not been able to figure out why, as it happens randomly and not always.

153 today morning. Yesterday I had to attend a wedding and there is always bed eating at Indian weddings.

89 yesterday.  Our high yesterday was 101° and it is heading to 102° today.  Pretty good for August and it looks like it will be around that for the next few days.
SKB, I haven't had that happen to me so it is a mystery.
Off in a bit to my Dermatologist for a full body check.  I have a couple of spots that I am concerned about so it is good to have the check up.

134 this partly cloudy morning.

83° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 94°/56°.

Well, yesterday's well check was weird! The good, A1c is 5.5% which I didn't expect at all; picked up my new glasses and I like them a lot!  The weird, dr came in all proud that he had read through my chart to see what has been going on with me. (Shouldn't he have been doing that every year??) He told me I have had a heart murmur for a while and it should have been checked periodically...so why didn't he? (He scheduled an echocardiogram for later this month) he also says I have a lesion on my pancreas and have for a while was my gastro following it? Then he said I may have a torn meniscus in the sore knee or maybe just arthritis... he scheduled me with an Orthopedist whom I have to call Monday to get the date... He suggested I go for a steroid shot first to see if that helps.

He said the murmur and the lesion are really not anything  to worry about...really??

Kind of makes me wonder why I stay with this guy...

Exactly. This happens only with me, maybe because I have an Admin account. I will need to investigate further.

You don't mention how he figured that out. Was it just from your "charts" (blood work?). I really have no faith in the men with the white coats, but let me not put my bias into you.

The devs over at SMF say that there are many known issues with attachments which will be addressed in the next release. So we wait till that one is released.

He was so proud of himself that he read back in my file. It is possible these things were actually there, but why did he not pursue them or even tell me about them?? It seems irresponsible to me. I really need to dump this guy...

88 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 102° and it is supposed to get to 105° today.  Clear and sunny with no chance of any rain.
Barbara, I don't know anything about the lesion on your pancreas but the heart murmur I am familiar with the murmur.  It is a good thing that he is going to have an Echo Cardiogram, that is how I started and then was referred to my Cardiologist.  It really may be nothing to worry about but it is worth keeping track of.

127 this sunny morning.

88° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 93°/53°. Here's hoping it stays in the mid 80's!  May have some thunderstorms this afternoon or evening.

It just seemed weird to me the pcp never mentioned these things to me. Yeah good that I am getting the Echo Cardiogram and I will talk to my Gastro at my next appointment about the lesion.

ETA I ordered 2 ace type bandages from Amazon. The one I am wearing now actually works as well or even better than the pills or patches. Don't know what that means torn meniscus vs arthritis, but I'll take it for now.

I had a torn meniscus several years ago and it was really worse than arthritis.  My knee swelled up about double normal and my doctor had to drain it.  Then it was really hard to walk with it.  When the meniscus tears it then has a flap that gets caught in the joint and that caused the swelling and pain.  I ended up getting an operation for it which is Arthroscopic surgery and it is pretty neat, only three small slits are done and one is for the camera and one for the tools and the other to circulate water.  I had it done in the hospital and it was outpatient and I went home the same day. I doubt that is what you have but the Orthopedist will be able to tell right away.
