Got up late, got busy feeding the yard tigers and fixed some tea before I realized I hadn't taken my fasting bg. So no reading this morning.

81° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 93°/48°.

Hopefully I will get an answer about my knee today.

Another late day for me and I didn't test either.  I am feeling pretty bad and U think that the meds my Cardiologist started me on have caused it.  It reminds me of when I had Hypercalcimea and that required a hospital visit.  I'll have to see how far this goes.

Hard to like that Wally. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should talk to your Cardiologist. Maybe he can find something different you can take.

My Appointment went well, Dr says it is arthritis and gave me a steroid shot. Knee is already feeling better. No return visit unless the shot doesn't work. He said I could get the shot every 3 months if needed. Will see how it goes.

Wally, the BP pills that the cardiologist gave me sent me on roller-coasters with my heart rate going to as low as 27 and jumping up to 168 while seated. I have lived 12 years without medication and it will have to be so for the rest of my life. I cannot use medicines the same way that most people do. On a daily basis Metformin is the only allopathic pill that I take, and now a baby aspirin.

I'm like you skb, I have a really hard time with bad reactions to medications. The only med I take now is Atenolol and since my recent weight loss might be able to decrease dosage of that. My last 2 recent visits to the drs my bp has been very normal, usually I have white coat results that makes them take it again at the end of the appointment.

The dr said the steroid shot should not really get into my system so I shouldn't have a bad bg reaction to it.

133 this sunny morning. Much better than last night's #!

82° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 98°/49°. At least it is cooling down at night.

I really need to go out to the PO today but yesterday totally exhausted me and I don't want to push today so one more day. I am going to have to learn how to pay online maybe depending on the due dates.

4PM ETA:  OK, I am now officially worried about Wally. I hope he is getting his issues worked out . I hope if he needs to be, he is in hospital, but I hope it is a short stay and he is back soon.

Yeah, I don't really know how much an Ostepath PA would know about the real bodily response to the steroid shot. It seems to have settled down a lot this morning. Hope for better tonight and tomorrow as I do have to go out tomorrow to the Post Office and then the grocery for more cat food. Man, those kitties eat better and more than I do!!.

I hope that is the case, he did mention the way he was feeling was like another time when he did end up in hospital. I hope he was able to get in touch with his Cardiologist and get the meds adjusted.

110 this sunny morning.

Phew! Looks like the steroid effects are wearing off. Knee has a few aches now and then, but dr said it could be 72 hours before full results will be seen.

86° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 98°/51°.

Definitely going out to run errands today. Need to get my bills paid.

Hopefully Wally will be able to check in today and all is on the mend with him.

Yup. It's been long that he is missing. I think we'll wait till Monday before we email his brother for an update. Really worried now.

Yeah, if he was able he would have sent a small message. I am hoping he is OK and in hospital recovering and will post soon.

108 this sunny morning.

88° ended up being the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 91°/57° with possible thunderstorms. Not going anywhere until next Wednesday when I have my echocardiogram.

My thoughts and prayers are going out to Wally. Hope he is able to rejoin us soon.
