I clocked a 98 this morning and I have really no idea where that came from. I had a lot of stuff yesterday that should have kept me at around 140 but the number really surprised me.

141 this partly cloudy morning. No clue where that # came from...

82° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 93°/52° with a small chance of a shower or two or thunderstorms. Hopefully it will only be mid 80's.

Still holding on to good thoughts for Wally.

143 this morning. I was expecting a lower number considering that I was very well behaved yesterday, but I guess it will take a couple of days more.

Sorry for the missing in action but yes, I was in the hospital with kidney failure.  There are no kidney doctors in this town so I had to be transported to Bakersfield which is 2 hours away.  My kidneys came back on the second day which was a good thing but I had fluid around my heart which may have been the cause.  Right now I am tethered to an O2 device and I don't know how long that will be for.  I have to schedule an appointment with my cardiologist as soon as I can for another echo cardiogram.  I was totally unprepared and my phone battery completely died on me.  I just got home last night and am kind of tired right now so I am going to get back in bed for a while.
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

Ironically I have an echocardiogram scheduled for tomorrow! I supposedly have had a heart murmur for some time now that no one bothered to tell me about... until my pcp appointment a couple of weeks ago.

107 this morning.  Off in a bit to my cardiologist.  I am interested on what he has to say about my kidney failure and what is to be done for the future.

Got distracted this morning and had some tea before I realized I didn't test.

82° was the high again yesterday. Today's forecast is partly cloudy 87°/55° with chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Not looking forward to having to go out this afternoon for echocardiogram. Any more, I don't look forward to going out at all...

The docs at my ayurvedic clinic make me do a treadmill session before every therapy session. The workout is a typical stress test and ECG is taken before and after every test. I am not even sure they know for sure what they are looking for, but I do go along with it. The ECG is an outdated tech and give misleading results for a variety of reasons.

Yesterday, one of my staff told me that her father-in-law was diagnosed with hypertension on the basis of his ECG reading. I'm not sure if that's even possible. Naturally, a prescription has followed and what will be the end result really beats me.

My echo took about 45 minutes. The last one I had was 7 years ago according to their records and I don't even remember having it . This one was much more detailed than the first one. I listened closely when the audio played but I couldn't hear anything but what sounded like normal beating.  Will just have to wait for results... Just one more thing to worry about.

146 this morning.  I think it is going to take a while for my numbers to stabilize.  They got really out of whack in the hospital.  The appointment with my cardiologist took a while.  I had an ultra sound of my kidneys and abdominal then an echo cardiogram.  My follow up appointment will be in two weeks and I should get more answers from him then.  Off in a bit to see my PCP and get her involved also.

93 this thundery/rainy morning. It has cleared out now but still chance of thunderstorms/showers today.

82° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 86°/57.

I can't imagine how scary that whole ordeal was for you Wally. Hopefully you will be back to normal soon.
