114 this morning.  Our high was 111° yesterday and it is supposed to be the same through next week.  It could be Barbara.  We just do not go out except briefly in the afternoon here.  We are fortunate that we can keep the house cool inside.

99 this sunny morning.

Slept like a rock last night slept in until almost 10AM. Really makes me think the heat was the cause. I don't deal well with hot and standing in 91* sun just did me in. My appetite is back and I feel pretty good today.

83° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 97°/48° but history proves that is higher than what it will be here. Especially if I stay in.

My only problem is the wet cat food situation. They may be feasting on the canned salmon and the tuna packs from Azure.com before I can get out to replace the MIA pack of food from Amazon comes (or doesn't). I will carefully check where things especially cat food ship from for now on!!

I don't have any A/C here but keep the shades down and put unceremonious cardboard shields in the windows with no shades... yeah I suppose trailer trash, but it keeps the inside temps liveable. I can live with it... soon it will be the low temps and heating bills...I can always layer clothing then...

Thunder and rain since early morning. The IMD reports that this September is going to be wetter than previous ones.

Some bad eating pushed me to 144 today.

88 this morning.  I think I am starting to settle down a bit.  Our high was 110° yesterday and it is supposed to be the same today.  California wants to have all electric cars by 2035 but right now the power grid can't handle the load during a heat wave because of the air conditioning use.  They have asked people to not charge their cars from 4PM to 9PM.  Great I guess if you don't have to go anywhere and are already charged.

121 this sunny morning.

Both my knees are stiff this morning, not sure why, I didn't do anything unusual yesterday.

Missed the high temp yesterday, today's forecast is 92°/49°.

Given the knee situation, I am going to wait one more day before I go to the grocery for cat food...

EVs are coming in fast here as well. I think my next change of cars should be an electric one. Better batteries will change the charging conundrum and that should take another 2 years or so. Today one charge can get you 400-500 km. For a city that's more than enough.

My meter battery died out while testing, so no morning number today.

86 this morning.  Our high was 108° yesterday which was a couple of degrees cooler than predicted but it is supposed to get to 111° today and through Friday.  The heat wave is supposed to break for the weekend and we should be below the 100° mark.  We are use to these temps here but other areas are having a hard time.
Most of California and Nevada and parts of Arizona, Utah, Oregon and Idaho should brace for high temperatures, forecasters say.
Northern California is dealing with two wild fires that have destroyed one whole town and many houses.

97 this sunny slightly smoky morning. There is fire somewhere, probably in the mountains, from a lightning strike a couple days ago, but nowhere near me. Just the smoke here.

Yesterday's high was a pleasant 80°, today's forecast is 88°/45°.

Overall feeling better today than I have in several days. Will still take it easy one more day. Hope to be back to normal (whatever that is!) by tomorrow.

Been reading about that as well. These are smaller fires I guess, compared to the ones we were earlier talking about.

102 this morning.  We got to a high of 109° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 111° again today.  Looking forward to the weekend when it will cool down quite a bit.  There is even a chance of rain Saturday and Sunday.
Two more fires started on the weekend this time in Southern California.  One in the mountains East of Los Angeles and one South of Los Angeles that has destroyed some homes and caused two deaths.  It now has 3400 people evacuated as it gets closer to more homes.

118 on another smoky morning. Still don't know where the smoke is coming from but it isn't near me thank goodness!

82° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 95°/46° hoping it doesn't get that high...

Argh! When I sleep late, my whole day feels messed up! My schedule is off and I just can't seem to get back to normal...

131 today morning.

I'm trying to get back into my street walking habit while returning home. That really helps with my morning numbers, but I was pretty late returning home yesterday, so I had to drop the walk. With the kind of traffic that Mumbai has, walking is a dangerous hobby, so I have to look for streets or paths where the traffic is low to make it safer and more enjoyable. I have found just such a passage to walk back home. Almost 2/3rd of the 3 km is pretty nice and enjoyable.  Hope I can make it today.

It sounds like it is kind of scary to be walking there. I guess that's why most of my walking is done inside the house.
