106 this foggy morning. Slept well last night.

33° was the high yesterday, it was a lovely sunny day, not that warm, but sunny. Today is starting out foggy, but should clear later. Today's forecast is 36°/19°

So far, (2 orders in) I am well pleased with Hive.com service and prices. I did some price comparisons on items I have purchased and Hive prices are cheaper than my local store and Amazon. They have some interesting items many are low carb friendly, some not but usable. They pack well, though a box of almond flour cheese crackers this last order were rather broken, but otherwise still tasty. Got some yummy pickles pickled in gin with rosemary and jalapeno, spicy but yummy. Already placed my 3rd order for pantry staples meaning less time in the grocery store. Very happy so far.

As I get older and don't do many things differently I notice un-understandable readings in my bg,

Could be true. Can't say for sure, but more than age there could be age related issues within the body that are causing that.

94 this morning.  The weather here is pretty much the same each day now with temps in the mid 60sand no rain in sight at all.  February is usually a good rain month for us so I hope we see something.
In my case if I have a higher bg number than usual I can usually relate it to something I ate but there are times that I am surprised by a higher number than I expected.  Nature of the game I suppose.  I don't worry about it, it is what it is, but I just do the best I can and over all it seems to be OK.

133 this cold blue sky morning. 10° when I got up around 8:30 this morning.

31° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 33°/13°.

My knee has been wonky the last couple of days, maybe it is the cold, I don't know. I'm afraid to go outside except on the porch to feed the cats for fear of slipping on the ice. My poor nextdoor neighbor slipped on the ice a few days ago and when I saw him his face was all bruised and bandaged. He said he had to go to the ER for treatment. I can't let that happen to me!

My reading is taken 2 hours after I have consumed my morning juice/drink of garlic and lemons. So I guess I could look at it like a 2 hr PP reading. If I didn't have that, anything between 100-110 is possible.

85 this morning.  We had a high of 65° yesterday and an overnight low of 30° and this looks like the norm for the next few days.
I'm not quite over the congestion and cough from covid but it is a lot better.  I am pretty sure I got it from my BIL that lives in the same house.  He is a plumbing contractor and is around a lot of people that will not bother with wearing a mask etc.  He had just mild symptoms like a cold with a cough and stuffy head but he is also 20 years younger.  We are both fully vaccinated and that is, I am sure, why it is not worse.
The sciatica is still with me but seems to be better.

125 this cold partly cloudy morning. Got up early (for me) at 8AM, it was all of 5° outside. Glad I don't have to go anywhere today.

Yesterday's high was 30°, today's forecast is 33°/11°.

Glad to hear you are on the mend Wally.

Since my knee has been acting up, I decided to postpone my Gastro appointment on Monday, the drive is more than I feel up to at this point...don't want to push it.

The sciatica is still with me but seems to be better.

88 this morning.  High yesterday was 62° and our overnight low 29° but sunny and clear. 
Yeah, I am feeling better.  I still have a slight cough from the covid but not too bad.  The sciatica is still there but not as bad as at first.  I am going to be interested to see what the orthopedic Dr. will have to say and what can be done for it.

125 this cold blue sky morning. 5° when I got up just after 8AM. The snow is so sparkly in the cold sunlight, it is so pretty but I'm not going out any farther than to feed the yard tigers when they get up.

Yesterday's high was 30°, today's forecast is 37°/10° if it does get that high it would be nice.

88 this morning.  It is a bright and sunny day today and out high should be around 69°.  I am going to enjoy it while it is here, cooler and cloudy tomorrow.

It only got to 31° yesterday, supposedly today's forecast is 38°/14° I'll be surprised if it gets that warm. Possibility of snow overnight.

Met with my shooting fraternity friends yesterday evening. They also had organised dinner. I stayed for a while and had some chicken there.

100 this morning.  We had a really nice high of 68° yesterday.  It is supposed to be a bit cooler today and cloudy but so far it is clear.
I bought a new Apple Watch to replace my Fitbit, mostly because I am a gadget freak but it has some health features that I like.  One will detect a fall and call someone you designate that you need help.  I am home alone all day and I would really have liked to have this when I broke my hip.  Then I just had to lay on the floor for about 6 hours until my BIL came home.  It connects to my iPhone and I can make and receive calls from it and that is also something I like as I don't always have my phone handy.  I am glad it showed up on the Amazon link.
