126 this sunny morning. No idea where that came from...

Yesterday's high was 65°, today's forecast is 88°/49° so warmer, maybe...

I don't know if population is the Amazon problem skb. I have been out of the "repopulation" business since 1973! Montana is a large state but low in population so maybe... It just seems since the pandemic started, delivery has become a problem. Now it is mostly tinned cat food which I don't quite understand. Twice now I've had no show deliveries, but they both were third party sellers the last order was through Amazon and it was only a day late.

my bad, I just have to double check that the orders are sold by/shipped by Amazon in the future.

Wally, I have been reading about some new fires in California. Hope this area is far away from you and you're doing good. What news of the Oxygen mask ?

Yup. I can figure that out. My comment was just in jest. India really has seen no supply chain disruptions. Apps dedicated to deliveries are just popping up like popcorn and all of them are doing well. At first I thought that this was just for metro cities, but was surprised to learn that, Tier 2 and 3 cities and small towns all have these services.

104 this morning.  Our high was 92° yesterday and it is supposed to get to 90° today so cool but our humidity is at 75% from the remnants of the tropical moisture from the hurricane last week.  This will be around for another day or two.
SKB, actually it is not a mask but is a cannula which is a loop of the plastic tube with two short tubes that are put into the nostrils and the oxygen is delivered that way.  It is quite comfortable and you hardly know it is there.  The last couple of days I have found out that when I am sitting up at my desk or walking around the house I don't need the supplemental O2 and have done just fine without it.  I have a SPO2 meter and my O2 level stays just fine when up but as soon as I lie down I need to hook up to it.  I don't know why lying down makes it necessary but it does and right now that is not a big thing.

Oh my forgot to post here!

Snap Wally! 104 here this morning too.

Yesterday's high was 71°, today's forecast is 86°/43°.

Both the Chewy box and my minimus order show delivery today but don't know if they will show today as FedEx tracking shows one in CA and one half way across MT. Hope if not today, then tomorrow.

Great observation and difficult to understand. Logically, it should be the other way around. If you look at Heart Rate or Blood Pressure, both go down when lying down, so the requirement of oxygen should be lower not higher. Very confusing.

Hope your packages come in Barbara. This has been causing you a lot of concern, the past few days.

87 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 90° and thar looks like it will be the same for the next few days.  We got rain last night starting around 8:00PM and it ended up to be 1/4 inch which is quite a bit for here.  One of the results will be the humidity will be high and right now it is 77% so we need to dry out now.
Yeah SKB, it does seem counter intuitive but that is the way it is working.  It is nice though to be able to be free of the O2 when up and be free to move around without being tethered to the machine.  I am hoping that it will become the same when lying down.

115 this cool cloudy morning.

Yesterday's high was 70°, today's forecast is 71°/51° with possible periods of rain. There was some drizzle before I got up. My boxes were slightly damp when I brought them in.

The damp weather is doing my knee no good today.

Hope you are able to get off the O2 soon Wally.

It sure will.

How about trying some easier exercises for the knee. Would that also be painful.

I have a case of bad strips today. Tried two readings. One said 95 and the other said 149. I know that I'm somewhere in 120s. I know that intuitively not because of some average formula.

I am accepting that the pain is arthritis and is weather related to some degree. I just doubled up on the Tiger Balm and I got a few different patches to try from minimus.biz. Have some Chinese White Flower Oil coming tomorrow and more Tiger Balm from Amazon. Right now the TB seems to be working the best. I think the trick is alternating the creams/salves/patches every few days seems to work the best. As Winter sets in, not sure what I will do...

skb, the only thing I do is walk in the house as much as I can, I don't think there is anything less I could do. I do have to go out probably Thursday to pick up mail and a small shopping. Hopefully the damp weather will be gone by then...

Getting old suck*s but the other option suc*ks more...

104 this morning.  Definitely cooler with a high of 92° yesterday and predicted 90° today with plenty of sun and the humidity much lower.

121 this partly cloudy morning.

59° was the high yesterday with rain most of the afternoon. Today's forecast is 76°/44° with small chance of rain or a thunderstorm. Not as damp today so knee is feeling a bit better.

Staying put today, will run my errands tomorrow.

Agreed. But there is no option. That is not for us to choose or decide. Anyways, hope your med options work and you get relief.

I'm showing high even today without any wrongdoing. I wonder if it is the strips.

125 this morning.  Higher than I expected but I can't fault my strips, they are pretty new and I tested twice.  Interesting because my test at 2 hours after dinner was 125 and usually my fasting after that would be fairly low but our body doesn't always seem to follow what we think it should.
Our high yesterday was 88° so getting back to what is more normal for the middle of September here.  Next Thursday will be the first day of Fall so looking forward to the change.

Snap Wally! 125 here too! May be the new strips I opened yesterday or may be the 2 days of solid pain...

59° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 72°/42° with a chance of rain or thunderstorms.

I really should go out today, but just not feeling it...

That's so true. There are so many things going on in our body and sometimes it is all guess work which is what the people in white coats also do. In maintenance of homeostasis our brain intervenes and decides that our BG needs to be a little higher to offset something else that is happening. The wise people of my first forum (not the one we left) would say 'Everything effects BG, even thoughts of food.'

Weather wise, raining here again for the past 3-4 days and what does for sure, is increase travel times as the traffic is really bad.
