That's great news Barbara. The theory with the patches, blood thinning and nose bleeds doesn't sound very plausible to me, but I'm no expert.

You know skb the body absorbs things through the skin. A one time use maybe no, but I was using them for several weeks, so I don't think my body absorbing things toxic to me not a stretch I am one that reacts badly to so many meds. I stopped them and the bloody noses stopped. Now I have to find something else.

108 this morning.  We had a high of 86° yesterday and it should be the same today.  It should warm up on the weekend and we may even hit 100°.
I never would have thought of that Barbara but if the nosebleeds stopped then that is a good thing.
Yeah SKB and I was using an iPhone SE so a small phone at that and it was cumbersome.  It came with a plastic case that holds some strips and some lancets but it broke.

112 this partly cloudy breezy morning.

69° was the high this morning, today's forecast is 67°/38°.

The patches really helped my knee the best, next Tiger Balm, then Badger Sore Joint Rub, I'm not going to use the patches as much but will once in a while. That seems to me the only logical reason for the bloody nose incidents I stopped them and the bleeding stopped. I am an odd duck when it comes to medications...

88 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 85° and now it starts to warm up.  We could get to 100° on the weekend.
Well Barbara glad you seem to have found an answer and if it works for you that is what counts.
Off in a bit for an appointment with my cardiologist.  I had a CT scan and an X-ray so I will be interested to find out what the results mean.

119 this sunny morning.

69° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 73°/50° with a good chance of rain overnight.

Feeling pretty good today, knee is not too bad and appetite is back again can't ask for much more! Don't have to go anywhere until Gastro appt 10/3 another good thing.

Hope you get good news at the dr Wally.

I was in Delhi yesterday for some work so couldn't post.
My morning number yesterday had come down to 129 but with the travelling and bad food both times, I have gone back up to 152 today. Sigh.

Barbara, the questions posed by you on the Indian history wrt the British rule will be a long post so I'll make a separate post in the Lounge Board.

99 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 86° and now it is going to warm up and we are expected to even hit 100° this weekend.  I am hoping this is the last heat wave this year.
I saw my cardiologist yesterday and the good thing is that everything is better.  The liquid around my heart has returned to normal and the liquid around my lung is less although still higher than normal.  I am continuing using the water pill and come back to see him in a month.  I do feel better but I still need to use my walker, for balance mostly, and I am limited on how far I can walk as my muscles get really tired after a bit.

104 this rainy morning.

69° was the high yesterday it did rain very late at night. Today's forecast is 53°/42° with rain most of the day.

Slept late again today, with the fall yesterday I think my body just needed the rest. Kitties weren't that happy having a late breakfast...

Glad to hear your water retention issues are settling down. How is the sciatica? Any improvement there?

94 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 89° and it is heading to 94° today.  It is going to get hotter and we are supposed to have highs of 100° Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then cooling back down.  This is hopefully the last heat wave this year.
SKB, I still need the O2 apparatus when lying down so I use it at night but when I am standing or sitting I don't need it and I understand that is typical with fluid on the lung and hopefully I will eventually get over that.
Barbara, thankfully the sciatica has pretty much taken a back seat and has not given me much of a problem.  I have had some pain but not often and not nearly as bad as it was.  That has been a real relief.

124 this mostly clear morning.

51° was the high yesterday, it rained all day and evening. When I went out to feed the kitties I saw the mountains behind me had a brand new dusting of snow!! I was just looking at them the other day and thinking all of last year's snow was gone...

Glad to hear the sciatica is better Wally hopefully you will be free of the O2 soon.

104 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 93° and is supposed to get to 98° today.  We are going to be in for a hot weekend and may get to 100° tomorrow and Monday.
Yeah me too Barbara.  This is a result of the liquid on the lung and apparently is going to take a bit longer to get rid of.  There is a small amount of liquid naturally between a membrane and the lung to make it easier for the lung to expand and contract but in my case it is too much and it causes problems.  So far it is slowly reducing in size and that is what I need to happen.  Same thing with the liquid around my heart which has returned to normal.

125 this sunny morning. Don't know where these numbers are coming from, maybe my body is still stressed from the fall?

High yesterday was about 60°, missed the exact high. Today's forecast is 73°/43° still some snow on the mountains behind me.
