83 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 95° and it should be around the same today, clear and sunny with no wind.
I am sorry Barbara, I did remember that you had an appointment with an ortho but I did not remember that you had received injections.  I had hoped that it would work for you as well as it did for me but alas I guess it was not to be.  Yeah SKB maybe your contacts will have something that will help.  It certainly is worth looking into.

122 this sunny morning.

62° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 75°/40° and clear.

No problems Wally, you have had a lot on your plate lately and I wouldn't expect you to remember details of my appointments. I am sad the shot didn't work too. I have found a patch that is all natural and works fairly well. I look forward to what skb can find out. It is exhausting being in pain all the time.

At this point I will try just about anything...just no camphor...preferably all natural ingredients. I had a couple bad falls always on the right knee. Bone and Joint dr dx'd it is arthritis. I had a cortisone shot in June which worked for about 7 days then the pain came back. Now just winging it to find something that works. I am not going to take Aleve or Advil for the rest of my life!!

82 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 96° and is probably going to be the same today. Clear and sunny with no wind, over all a pretty nice day.
Yeah Barbara, osteo arthritis is what my diagnosis was also.  Aleve or Advil never did anything to help me at all so I was lucky that the steroid injection worked as good as it did.  The injections are not all the same.  The first ones I got were a brand name Supartz which would last about 3 months for me and I had them twice then my Ortho said that there was a better one now and it was called Durolane and that has lasted now 3 years.   
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

105 this mostly sunny morning.

68° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 76°/40°.

I don't know what the name of the shot I got in my knee was. I think the dr called it cortisone. I have had the shots in my hands and it worked wonderfully. 10 years later and still no pain. The knee seems to be different though. Keeping my fingers crossed I'll find something that works...

I called up the clinic twice yesterday, but got no response. I think they were also closed for the Dusehra holiday. WIll try again today.

Thanks skb for the effort. I will seriously look at anything they suggest to you. In my heart of hearts I know what will eventually help this pain will be something natural.

I am still marinating the raisins in rum (1-2 weeks. When I went to the drug store and liquor store today they said at the liquor store (hmm no surprise) that they knew many people that used it and had good results (hmnm soaked in rum ...what is the active ingredient here?>?> Mama already has liver issues... on the other hand, I'll give just about anything a try these days

86 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 96° and it should be the same today.  Clear and sunny with no wind. 
I noticed headlines regarding weather is the world :

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Eight people died after flash floods hit a river
  in India's eastern state of West Bengal
 on Wednesday in the latest incident of heavy seasonal rain
 causing havoc in South Asia.

Sydney has recorded its wettest year since records began in 1858 as further
 downpours are forecast in coming days that could cause more flooding in
 Australia's eastern states.

Of course also the East Coast of the USA from Hurricane Ian with areas of heavy flooding and here on the West Coast of the USA no rain and severe drought with reservoirs running dry.  It's not that there isn't enough rain it's just location!

97 this sunny morning.

Yesterday's high was 69°, today's forecast is 73°/40°. Yeah Wally, the weather is a strange thing. You can listen to/read the forecast but really the only true indicator is looking out your window to see what is happening there right now.

Man, my errand trip yesterday really set my knee back! I was in so much pain when I got home I could hardly walk today it is still very sore. Can't wait for the drunken raisins to finish soaking and try them.  I asked the lady about them at the liquor store yesterday and she said she knew of many people that use them. I asked if they helped and she said yes. I sure hope so...

Let's hope that works. My talk with my doctor has still not happened. Today in the evening I want to drop in to the clinic. Maybe I'll have some inputs for you. From their website I saw that the program is more of a personalized massage + exercise + medication mix. Even so, I hope to find some answers.

105 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 95° and as predicted.  This week has been about the same every day and should be through the week end.  Next week it is supposed to start cooling down a bit, about time!
I hope you find relief Barbara, not something I would try but if it works it works.

131 this mostly clear morning. I'm beginning to think these higher numbers are a reflection of the pain I have in my knee.

69° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 72°/41°.

Yeah Wally, not something I would normally have tried but I have heard of the drunken raisins working from several different places and people, so willing to give them a try. From the looks of the jar may be another week before all the gin is absorbed/evaporated before I can try them.

You eat 9 of them (raisins) each day so I don't think it will hurt my bg any more than the pain is at this point.
