That is good news Wally! And hopefully it will continue to remain "not dangerous"!!

121 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 41° it was foggy in the morning but sunny later in the day.  Today's forecast is 63°/49° with some clouds. It is supposed to be a nice couple of days then rain on Monday.

Pump guy is going to finish up today. Man, what a difference! It surprised even him! Apparently over the years people just rammed more insulation in when they had problems. He pulled all of it out and discovered there was a concrete floor covered with rocks! That solved one plan. More rocks and flooring made it look great! He said he never realized how big the building actually was! Today new insulation goes in, some sort of insulating wall board, and foam calking in all open spaces that air leaks in through plus flaps on door to keep breezes out. I shouldn't have any freezing problems after this!! Yay! Ultimately makes his job easier in the Winter.

The new oil heater is set up in kittie's house and seems to be working fine. I'm only going to keep it set around 50° for now maybe a bit warmer as it gets colder.

Today or tomorrow my friend is going to come over and pick up some of her tools and do some finishing work on the kitty house. May be a busy weekend...

87 this morning. Our high yesterday was 74° so quite cooler but it is going to warm up a bit today however only to 80° so still quite nice.
Yesterday was a kind of busy day doing laundry that had been put off for too long so more than usual and it is a chore for me but all done. Today not much going on and that is just fine.

111 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 52°, today's forecast is 69°/42° and partly cloudy.

I helped my friend get all of her tools and things into her truck. The stuff could have stocked someone's shop!! Having had a business of her own she had lots of duplicates so she wasn't missing any of these things, but I needed to start arranging boxes so I can get my car into the garage this Winter.

Pump guy had some family things to do yesterday so he is coming to finish up today.

About all I need to do today is gather the garbage for pick up tomorrow.

Really pretty sunrise this morning:

104 this morning. Our high yesterday was 80° and it is probably going to be just a couple of degrees warmer today but close to the same. It is looking like we will be in the mid 80s for the week.
I didn't sleep well last night for some reason so I am probably going to nap this afternoon.

94 this  morning.

Yesterday's high was 65° it ended up a veery pleasant day! Today's forecast is 61°/35° with showers in afternoon and evening.

Pump guy was a no show yesterday. Hope he gets here before the rain today as the wall board is stacked outside the pump house...  Can't blame him though it was such a nice day he probably wanted to spend it with family.

The crystal lady is coming at 8:30 this morning. A bit earlier than I'd really like, think I'm going to tell her 9AM is earliest from now on. At least she asked last night.

Garbage up the road and PO/grocery run is all for the rest o the day.

100 this morning.  Our high yesterday was 84° and it is supposed to be the same today. It is going to be dry and, thankfully, no wind so pretty nice. I am still waiting for actual Fall weather but this is OK for now. It is going to be a while before we see leaves turning here.

I got a real good nights sleep so feeling a lot better today but nothing on my schedule so probably going to take it easy for another day. I still have to get a chest X-ray and lab work done for my cardiologist for an OK from him to get the, ugh, colonoscopy next month.

117 this morning.

55° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 55°/27° with light showers early morning. 38° when as I go out to feed kitties.

Pump house is done and it looks great! I'll put some photos in Chit Chat later I have to crop them.

Today my plan is to move a couple of the coolers from the kitty house back to the front deck because late last night I noticed the one I left there was being used so I want to make a couple more available out there. In their house they have about 18 so they won't miss a few. Plus in their house they have several cardboard box homes with thick warming pads in them and cozy blankets.

That is about all on agenda today. Thursday I go up to town for Bone Density test.

99 this morning. Our high was 86° yesterday and it is supposed to be a couple of degrees warmer today but the overnight lows are 50° and the leaves are just starting to fall so it should be getting cooler soon, maybe.

I think that bone density is something that affects women more than men but back in 2015 when I was hospitalized with hypercalcemia I had a variety of tests and bone density was one. They wondered where the calcium was coming from and maybe it was from my bones but the test showed that my bone density was just fine so that was not the problem. I even had a PET scan because cancer could be the cause but that also came out negative and after I was finally returned to a normal calcium level in the hospital I was released and sent home but still take supplements to this day and never was given a reason for my very large calcium levels. Because all of my electrolytes were out of whack my doctor has regular blood work to keep track of them but all has been fine since.
Hopefully your test will come out OK but if not I believe that you would just need to have a supplement to correct it.

Thanks! I was wondering in the back of my mind if it was a test men needed too. Probably it is related to the female monthly cycles and such. I had one done shortly after I moved here, so I was about 55, basically I think as a baseline. Now 20 yrs later my pcp suggested I have one done again. When I talked to the tech to make the appt she said the first one was so long ago this one will be considered the "first" again. I remember that they told me then my bones were really strong so I'm hoping for the same result this time. But age and all, there definitely could be some loss.  I do eat a lot of calcium in my diet so I would expect just normal loss age-related.
