111 this morning.

47° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 54°/31° and cloudy.  It was 19° when I went out to feed the cats, inside their house was 41°. All the outside water bowls (except the heated one on the front porch) were frozen solid, but inside the kitty house no frozen water. I don't think I need to put a heated bowl in there after all.

Well, what I can make out on the Bone Density scan report is my density is Normal, meaning no Osteopenia or Osteoporosis. They did find the results of my original Scan back in 09/2004 and did comparisons so I guess the findings are good news! II'll get a better explanation when I see my pcp in January.

Only one more dr appt this month, Podiatrist to have my claws trimmed next week. That's it. for the rest of the yeat!

85 this morning. Salad for dinner always gives me a good fasting number.  Our high yesterday was 85° and it may be a bit warmer today.
Glad your result was good Barbara. One more thing you don't have to worry about.

Yeah when I lived on the mountain I got a lot more driving in and didn't mind it because it was what you knew was part of living in a remote area and it was worth it but as I have gotten older I do appreciate not having to drive as much and it is so nice to have everything so close. I do like living in town and this is still not a big town and nothing like bigger cities.

Speaking of bigger cities, Los Angeles is getting fired up about the World Series as the LA Dodgers are hosting the first game against the New York Yankees in Dodger Stadium tonight and I can't imagine how insane the traffic will be there. The other thing I can't get my head on is that the cheapest ticket for the game is $900 and it goes up from there to several thousand dollars for just one ticket. I remember going to Dodger games paying $10 for a box seat ticket. My how times have changed.

Crazy isn't it!  They have to pay the players their crazy large salaries so it trickles down to all the costs involved with getting tickets/food/parking (I suppose)/etc. dumped on the fan. I can't fathom paying those kinds of prices....yep the times they have changed...not so much for the good...
