101 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 39°. Today's forecast is 41°/28° mostly clear. One last day of nice weather then rain begins and some snow by end of week.

Changed bandage yesterday, sadly the skin has pulled out of the stitches and now there is a quarter sized area of open wound. It had bled a lot after being bandaged. I'm thinking at some point today I should sit for a while and leave it open to dry out some.

Going for a walk later in the foothills up the road from me with my friend and her hubby. It is supposed to be clear so the view s/b lovely.

The rest of the day will be visiting w/family via FaceTime and taking it easy.

84 this morning. Our high yesterday was 69° again yesterday but it is supposed to be a cooler 62° today but still staying in the 60s. The wind blew really hard all night but it is calm now so hopefully it is over.

I'm not planning anything for today but probably will be watching some movies on the TV.

Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

124 thiis morning.

39° was the high yesterday, a lovely sunny day, though cold. Today's forecast is 41°/32° with rain snow miix early morning then again possible it late afternoon. It is 31° outside right now so probably mostly rain here, I don't want to turn and outside light on to check until I am actually going out to feed the cats.

As long as I don't bump my leg, it is feeling pretty good. I let it breathe yesterday and it wasn't draining any when I redid the bandage. I may finally switch to a large bandaid in a day or two.

Visited with everyone yesterday, which was really nice. One of my oldest grand daughters messaged 18 photos of her and her sister's trip to Europe. Looks like they had a great time!

Not much on agenda today...

101 this morning. Our high yesterday was 62° and that should be the lowest for the next few days. Today it is supposed to get to 64° and then in the mid 60s for the rest of the week.

I guess today is going to be laundry day, can't put it off any longer. Amazing that doing laundry is a major event in my life now!  ;D

Yeah, it is kind of a sad commentary on our lives that doing laundry is of note in the daily plan...sometimes even the only plan!!   ~ cat ~

Well, on one hand it may be a bit of a sad commentary but on the other hand I am grateful that I am able to do things like my laundry for myself still. There will probably be a day when I can no longer manage things like this so for now it is a good thing.

119 this morning.

41° was the high yesterday, today's forecast is 37°/30° wiy possible snow showers late afternoon. The weekend looks to be wetter in the valleys and snow at high elevations.

I plan on a quick run out to the PO as I have a rx in my PO box. Other than that, not much else planned.

For some reason my leg is aching this morning. It looked like it was healing OK yesterday when I had it uncovered for about an hour and it felt good most of the day.  Maybe somehow I bumped it in my sleep... Still going to take it easy today.

99 this morning. Our high yesterday was 61° so a bit lower than predicted but it is supposed to get to 70° today and I think that is probably going to happen as it is already 62° at 7:30 AM. We will stay in the mid to high 60s for the next few days and still no rain in sight.

You probably need to give it as much rest as possible for a while to let it heal completely. It sounded like a pretty bad wound and it can take a while.

117 this morning.

Slept late so kind of a rushed morning. Yesterday was 40° today's forecast is 41°/30° cloudy with showers most of the day, maybe snow overnight.

I went to the PO yesterday to pick up my Metformin and decided to make a quick run up to the bigger grocery store in town. I though it would be quiet, between holidays, mid day. WRONG!! Sheesh I had a few items, but stood in line for almost 1/2 hour to get checked out!!

Once again, laundry is about all that I plan today. I'm hoping to be able to just get by with a large bandaid on my leg today for after I take off dressing to let it air some. It still aches sometimes but no sing of any infection so I guess that is "healing". I finish the round of antibiotics tomorrow. She prescribes 2 different ones, I've never had that before...

103 this morning. Our high yesterday was a surprising 75° but it is supposed to be a lot cooler today and around 65° and that is where we should be for the next few days.

Not sure what is going on but I am not feeling well the last few days. It is nothing I can put my finger on but just a feeling that something is not right. If it keeps up I am going to make a doctors appointment.

Oh dear, I hope you aren't getting sick! Take care and do see the dr sooner rather than later if it doesn't pass soon.
