105 this morning. Our high yesterday was 70° and it is supposed to be quite a bit lower at 55° today and there is a possibility of rain but probably just windy. There is rain happening on the coast and even just north of here but it usually doesn't get into this valley.
I have an appointment for an electrocardiogram this morning so I hope that it doesn't rain but I am not too worried about it.

Here when you have jury duty you have to go to the court house and sit for the whole day while they choose a jury for a trial. If you are not selected you just spend the whole day sitting and waiting. If you do get selected then you are there for the duration of the trial which may be a day or several days. The last time I served I got selected and the trial lasted four days so that meant driving for an hour and a half each way for four days.

105 this morning. Our high yesterday was 69° and we did get some rain. It started just as I left for my appointment and was on and off all day but it was a light sprinkle and I only had to put my wipers on once in a while so not a big deal.

Nothing on my schedule for today so just going to poke around.  The electrocardiogram was easy and didn't take too long so I was home in less than an hour. I see my cardiologist in may so will get the results than.

116 this morning.

45° was the high yesterday. Today's forecast is 42°/23° mostly cloudy. Yesterday I saw the first CA quails and also a blackbird. The Canadian geese have been back along with the chickadees have been back at least a week. No robins yet but I expect to see them soon. The silent mornings are no longer silent! Spring is here! Though I see rain and snow in the future forecast for next Tues. and Thur. but that can definitely change.

Glad to have all the paperwork finished re the inheritance. Now just a wait and see situation. More details in Inheritance thread.

Today I want to finish cleaning up the front deck and maybe set up a couple of cardboard shelters for now. Then some tiding up in the kitty house itself. Then if I feel up to it a little more work on organizing taxes. I'm really close to being done with that job thank goodness!
