Maybe, another coat of paint will help.

I was more talking where the separate boards meet. This is 2 coats on the OSB board which is itself not a smooth surface, it isn't a final finish board. The way I take it, it is a structural outside board. Outside finishes would be attached to it and final walls attached on the inside. This was the cheapest decent wood I could afford for this project. On a room in a home walls would be taped and joints invisible, but here that is just not a needed step given the purpose of the room and who will be inhabiting it.  ~ cat ~  ~ cat ~  ~ cat ~

From the photo it looks like that your storage sheets will need some additional support underneath.

Yes, that is still to come. These are just the first steps. We are documenting each step as much as possible.

Wally, I have a question for you about the printer. My blue has stopped printing. It is almost full so not out of color. I ran the printhead cleaner several times per the instructions in the manual and it got marginally better but not enough to print anything with blue.

The next step is Power Cleaning, which says uses a lot of ink and can cause the ink pads to reach capacity sooner and thn you have to contact Epson for support. I'm afraid to do that step... Do you have any suggestions of anything else I can try?

Hello from rural India. Did the building setting out yesterday. I have some serious sunburn on my neck.

You may have to remove the cartridge and manually clean the head. You could search for how to do it on TouTube. There are some excellent videos there.

The problem with that is that it isn't cartridges, it is ink tanks. I'm not even sure they come out. Normally one just refills the tank when the ink runs low. I will do some googling tomorrow if Wally doesn't have a solution. He has the same type printer. Thanks for the idea!

Take care of that sunburn, cover up if you are going to be out more.

I am not sure Barbara.  I have not had any problem so far.  I did read that power cleaning will fill the ink pads sooner and on your model Epson doesn't offer a replacement however there are third party sellers that do sell replacements if they are necessary.  It may clear itself if you print a bit more to see if it will clear out otherwise a power cleaning may be necessary.  One power cleaning will probably not do too much.  One of the reasons I bought the model I have is that the tank that the excess ink goes into is replaceable so that is not a problem.  Do a search on YouTube.  There are several people that have answers to everything about these printers.  Here is one:

Here is another YouTube video that popped up that may give you some more information on clearing a clog on your printer Barbara. It gives you options to use to try before trying a power cleaning.

Thanks Wally! I did find her and watched the video. Will go through the steps tomorrow as I am exhausted from today's work. I hope it works because the power wash does not sound like a good idea. I looked at another one and in the comments someone said it filled the sponges and the replacement non-epson sponge, since epson doesn't offer for my model, basically bricked his printer and it doesn't work any more...sheesh. Apparently the tank models do tend to clog especially if you don't use it regularly. I don't use it every day by any means maybe only 2x a week. I guess if I get it fixed, I'll print something everyday from now on.

Some current photos. Hopefully my friend can find or make a door tomorrow, while I set up everything in prep for the cats. Just maybe we can start trapping Monday. There is still more to do but it can wait until the cats are taken care of.

Below is a closer look at the poultry fencing from the car side. It turned out really nice and is much easier to work with than chicken wire!!

Quite a project Barbara but it looks like you have come a long way and it should be finished soon.  You have a lot more energy than I do.

Well I don't print every day, maybe two to three times a week but I do tend to print some big things like manuals and sometimes 20-30 pages and I print two sided most of the time.  So far I have not had a problem with clogging but with my model I can replace the sponge/tank but I have also seen others that have used the third party sponge for your model and it worked so not sure.  The guy in the first link I posted may have some more info but then maybe he is just trying to sell his cleaning kit.
