I am just curious Barbara.  Did you get your printer problem resolved?

Nope, blue is still not printing. I've periodically been running a bunch of Printer Purge sheets and all I get is spaced lines of light blue...been using them as note paper LOL! I am still hesitant to do the Power wash as it uses so much ink...it say up to 1/3 of the ink!

The ink tank is fullI suppose if I get desperate for blue I'll run the power wash... Sometines when I print something with just a little blue I will get some blue, but it is not fully filling the space. Maybe the clog is finally working its way out?

Have you had any problems with ink in yours?

No I haven't had any problem yet but I do print a lot.  I don't know the actual number but I know I have printed over 2000 sheets since I bought it and I usually print on both sides. I am amazed that the ink levels in all tanks are still at about 3/4 full.  I know that I would have gone through several cartridges in my other printer by now.  I would not be afraid to run the power wash, it does use ink and it does put excess ink into the waste tank and it is not something you want to do on a regular basis but it is useful if you can't get it solved by printing purge sheets.  The main difference between my printer and yours is that the waste tank on mine has a chip that when you replace it it tells the printer that there is a new empty tank attached.  You can get a replacement tank for yours also but you have to call Epson support to get a software update that does the same thing.  I looked on Amazon to see what they had for a replacement for mine and all of them were Chinese knock offs so I looked on the Epson website and they had them for only $10 and that was about 1/2 of what the Amazon knock offs were charging.  I would feel better with the genuine Epson product but I was expecting that they would be more expensive.  I saw a video from someone that ran a power wash and it didn't use any where near 1/3 of the ink.  Probably not any more than you use printing purge sheets.

I'm back. Nothing much achieved this trip as it was raining bit and there was power outage the day I was there. However we did get the Septic Tank completed. I did the top slab without using any centering material. It was the talk of the town, sorry village, as this was the first time something like this has been done there.

Thanks. It is very difficult to get work done long distance, that too with manpower that is unskilled or semi skilled at best. One section of the tie beam contains an arch for an arched window beneath. So they have to create formwork in that shape. The first picture shows what they had made (and were satisfied with) and the second one is what I wanted and had to get done by giving instructions on the phone. All thanks to video technology.

Definitely a different idea of an arch than the one you wanted. But they did do a nice job with your help. The rounded one is much nicer. I am enjoying seeing your updates!

This is how the beam sits over the arched window. Everything below the arch is the formwork. It will be removed after the concrete is fully set.

Ahhh, now I understand! I couldn't see how a window would go in the bricks! Thanks. for the visual!

Last evening we (our Association) held a felicitation function for our shooting star, who just returned from the Paris Olympics with a Bronze medal in the 50 mtr 3 position Rifle event. Here I am with the bright kid and a dear friend.

Congrats to your shooter!! Hope you are having a great time celebrating! Did you get to hold the medal? I've never known anyone so close to a winner. If so, it must have felt awesome holding it!
