Still no internet! Now. they say 11PM tonight! I was only on for 15 min last evening then down again.

That's what I thought Wally, all I was doing was posting here and. on another site, checking weather. No videos or anything like that. Imam now on the 2nd 300MB @ $20 and I am not happy to say the least. Will quickly post for today and then sign off.

I just read a report in the News that this August has been the hottest ever and the year in itself was also the hottest ever, the average temperature increasing by 1.5^o C.

Yeah I saw that also and yet there are many that insist that climate change is not real.

Here in Montana we had one of the rainiest Augusts in a long time. August is usually the driest month of them all! With all these weather abnormalities, how can one really deny there is such a thing as climate change?

Yes. I had met a highly qualified soil researcher who thought that these changes occur every few hundred years. There is data to show that the earth did heat up before. But I think the reasons may have been different and that makes all the difference.

News of India's first 3D-printed post office building went viral in April when a wonder-struck resident at Bengaluru's Cambridge Layout locality tweeted a video of a robotic arm at work, its nozzle intricately depositing layer upon layer of concrete to build the walls of the structure. Last week, the Ulsoor Bazaar Post Office—completed in 43 days—was formally inaugurated, making it one of the first public buildings in the country to be literally printed out from a 3D design.

Wow! That is amazing! I can see a building far easier than 3D food! So the hollow form was printed then filled with a special concrete? That could be a major bonus for rebuilding after natural disasters.

I don't know what the conversion to dollars is for the cost though, maybe very expensive??

Yeah the process is getting more popular here in the US also.  There are houses being 3Dprinted also and there was a project of several houses built near Palm Springs recently that were 3Dprinted.  No the 3Dprint is not the form it is the complete wall and the concrete that comes out of the nozzle is the width of the wall.  I have seen several videos of the process and it is pretty neat.  One of the reasons for doing it this way is that it is cheaper.

Thanks Wally! Yes, I did know most of those things except they opened their eyes sooner, and were 200% smarter than most cats. Well, my Baby Boo (avatar) was one smart cat that was for sure, but I thought that was just the proud mama in me!

One of my kitties is a gray tuxie with white sox too. It is a real cutie.

Wow! That video was amazing to watch! Went down a rabbit hole watching a bunch of others that were listed with it. I wish I could afford to build a small one. The one in Germany, I think it was, was a beautiful home. One real plus I can think of these homes is in fire country, they would seem to be able to withstand fire well.
