How do you make your almond/flaxseed meal porridge?  It sounds really good.

1/4 cup TJ's almond meal, mixed well with
1/4 cup ground flaxseed

Add a pour of a flavored sugar-free syrup (I like Irish Cream, Salted Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Gingerbread)

Add boiling water to achieve desired consistency

Stir

Grammabear

I agree with Shanny, I could eat burritos every day also.

Thank you for posting your recipe for porridge.

Shottlebop ~  How do you manage to stop your consumption of mixed nuts at 1/4 cup only?  I love nuts, especially mixed nuts.

I don't know about Shottlebop but I found out early when I started LCHF that I never take the container with me to my desk, chair in the living room, or where ever I am going to eat the nuts, pork rinds or whatever.  I count out or weigh the amount I want and take just that.  Otherwise it is too easy to just keep mindlessly munching away until you realize that you ate it all !  At least it works for me.

Ditto, for me, but I'm going to try Wally's suggestion.

Kind of like this.  I pour out (into my cupped hand) what I'm going to eat, and put the rest away.

This is such a 'common sense' approach to everyday problem.  I tried it last night and it works.  I thank you for your patience with answering a silly question.

Glad to see you splurged on sourdough while you were in the Bay area neighborhood! Last time I was up there was 1998 and I ate so much of that wonderful crusty chewy stuff I about threw my jaw outta joint!  ;D
