4098 steps yesterday.  I didn't feel much like walking with this stupid monitor hooked up.  Should do better today.
I found out the hard way after I retired from a rather active job and I mostly sat around.  After a couple of years I realized that I needed to get up and do something !  That was when I started walking every day and I soon found out how out of shape I had become.  I really believe that the more you can do the better off you will be.  No matter what your age or ability doing anything is only going to help. 
Type 2 since 1993.  Control with LCHF diet.

7,607 steps yesterday.

Smoke was getting to me plus  ~ cat ~ in lap.  Also spent a bunch of time looking for flights to Las Vegas to meet up with my DD and their new baby.

Hopefully today will be better.

6399 steps yesterday.  I need to try and pick up the pace.  I think it will be better when the weather cools down a bit.

8,351 steps yesterday. Yesterday was still very smoky, today there was actually some blue sky for a while until the breeze came up and blew the smoke back in.  :(

Since it's a Saturday today and I will be having the weekend off from gym, we went road running yesterday. By we, I mean a whole bunch of the guys at the gym. There is a park which is 2 kms from the gym. Sarge and I usually run to the park and part ways there. Yesterday, we all ran to the park and back to the gym. It was good fun.  ;D

5803 steps yesterday so down a bit but I was busy and walked as much as I could fit in.

So smoky today!  The fire is just under 43,000 acres burned.  It took another run last night and several areas were under evacuation orders first thing this morning.  The fire burning up in Glacier Natl Park took a 100+ year old building, the Sperry Chalet, on Thursday. Sad to see history go like that...

The fire crew tried so hard to protect the building, but it just wasn't in the cards. 

They have gotten air filters  for the local classrooms here because the particulate level is so dangerous.  I think I am going to start wearing a mask when I go outside. It is really bad, this is the worst it has been since I have lived here.

Shanny, the air inside is not that great either. Boo likes an open window, which I just can't do right now, but I give in a little and wear a mask while it is open.

Yes Rocky, I am definitely going to see my daughter.  But that is not until the end of the month unfortunately.
