Just broke 4K steps yesterday.  I felt better but still dragging.  My first concern was that it was just a year ago that I ended up in the hospital with hypercalcemia and the symptoms were similar.  Not the same though so I should be seeing improvement.

9621 steps yesterday and less than 6 kms. 30 floors though.

Had lots of work and generally a day that did not start as structured as it should.

Its 10 AM and i am at 4k steps and 35 floors so today should be better. I should probably try and increase my pace as it takes me 16000 steps to do 10 kms. I am short (less than 150 cms) and my stride must be smaller so that could be a reason...

Steps I don't count, but I did my full routine at the gym and also managed 32 floors.

I meant to ask the pharmacist about a remedy for runny nose when I went in to pick up my insulin yesterday . . . but forgot. :(  My nose runs incessantly! And using tissues only irritates the skin, so scads of soft cotton hankies are the answer . . .

Incidentally, my insulin cost me $156 this time! Yikes!  This is just the tip of the iceberg of what's wrong with the healthcare system in this country!   ~hlp~

CCD, I could manage only 11 floors yesterday.

Wally, things are getting better. Good luck.

10,276 steps yesterday.  It has been quite a while since I was able to make it to 10K so I was surprised.  I don't know what the main difference is except that my knee is not bothering me near as much.  Still having some allergy problems and not sleeping as well as I would like but that doesn't seem to hurt.

ccd, You will find this funny, but I really do forget to take the stairs. I'm so tied up at work and in my own thoughts that once I'm in the lift I realize I was to take the stairs.

But I went to the gym for a full workout because I take the weekends off.

Well, after three nights of rather poor sleep it finally caught up with me and yesterday I crashed and just managed to break 4K.  I slept well last night so I hope that today I can get back to a more normal, what ever that is, routine.   :D

6412 steps yesterday.  Better than the day before but my knee decided to get cranky so I kind of took it easy.
It must look strange to the neighbors to see an old man with a cane and a knee brace walking up and down wearing a Fitbit.   `8)
