Wally, have you ever worn a copper knee brace? That is what I am looking at on Amazon.

No I haven't.  I don't know which one you are looking at, there are several, but they may be just fine.  I tend to go for the ones that are adjustable and these look like most are elastic sleeves.  My only problem is that most "one size fits all" don't seem to fit me so well.

Thanks Wally. I was looking at the copper braces from an arthritic stand point. Adjustable is probably a better idea though.

I looked at some of the reviews of the Copper knee brace, the pro version, and it looks like some have received counterfeit items.  If you do decide to try the Copper brace make sure it is sold and shipped by Amazon.  They may be just fine, at least some people like them.

7132 steps yesterday.  I was doing quite good until about 3:00 PM and my left big toe started hurting, a lot !  Kind of put a damper on the rest of the day.  I have had Nail Psoriasis of my finger and toe nails for several years so the nails thicken and sometimes split.  I have never been told of any treatment from any doctor or dermatologist but I may need to seek it.

I ran across this article regarding how much do you really need to walk to live longer.  For one it doesn't need to be 10K steps a day to help although it doesn't hurt, in most cases.  :

It's a funny thing, because one would think that survival is uttermost in peoples' minds, but as I've aged, I worry less about living longer. My grandmother lived well into her 90s, but her quality of life was almost nil - her nurses moved her from her bed to a chair & back again - that was it. She didn't recognize her family or others. That is not how I want to finish my days.

I agree Shanny, quality of life is more important than quantity.

Missed yesterday but I got 8665 Tuesday and 8050 yesterday.  Still nursing my big toe a bit.
I agree that quality of life is a major importance but as long as I am capable I would like to live as long as I can.  My grandmother lived to 98 and was able to take care of herself the whole time with only a cleaning woman coming in once a week.  I think we do many of the things to try and be as healthy as we can and live as long as we can, like LCHF.  The point of the article was that we have been told that you need to walk 10,000 steps a day for health and that is not true.  That was an arbitrary number that was put out by a Chinese pedometer manufacture.

10,380 steps yesterday.  I like the warmer weather and longer days.  I added an hour to my scheduled "250 steps or more" hours so now it's 12 hours a day.  I actually try for a minimum of 500 steps every hour and that seems to work.

7674 steps yesterday.  Down a bit but I was a bit sore from Thursday.  Old bones and muscles just don't recover as fast as they used to.  My best day was just over 20K steps about 3 years ago and I don't see that happening again.  Well, at least I can hit 10K once in a while.

~ cat ~ is firmly planted on my lap right now so don't know how the rest of today will go.
