ccd, very impressive numbers.

After a very long break I went to the gym yesterday. Needless to say Sarge was very very very upset. I could only do about 50% of my routine.

5393 steps yesterday.  I spent a lot of time at doctors offices and that really cut into my walking time.  Just follow up appointments and all is good but quite time consuming.  Hoping for a better day today.
Barbara, hope you are OK and you take it easy for a bit.

It sure doesn't enhance the living room decor, but I've started keeping my walker next to the sofa where I can get a good grip getting up. I can get up from the chairs easily, because they have arm rests & are higher than the sofa. But I lie on the sofa a lot & it's hard to get up from it. The walker makes a big difference.

Got a strong reminder last week to be careful about this, because a cousin of mine in California fell getting out of his chair. His wife couldn't get him up so she had to call paramedics. That led to him being hospitalized, and if was only a few days later that he died. He was only about eight months older than I.

8,013 steps yesterday. Still a little sore so took it easy.

Shanny, so sorry to hear about your cousin.  ~hug~

He'd had Parkinson's for the last 4-5 years, but docs didn't think it was the cause. Haven't heard what they DO think though.

Sorry about your cousin Shanny.

I have increased my gym routine by a notch or two. Still a long way to go.  >:(
