6030 steps yesterday.  I started out good in the morning but I really started to feel punk later and I think I may have a cold coming on.  I spent most of the afternoon lying down and today I still feel draggy so probably not going to do much.

What is going on with all of us? I was feeling dizzy before I ever got out of bed this morning. Came downstairs where it's cooler & have been in the recliner ever since, but still having dizziness. This is not good!  :( :(

3,203 steps yesterday. Lots of miles in the car though...

The trip up for blood work really exhausted me. I don't know Shanny, maybe it is the change of seasons... I have been feeling bad for months and don't like it one bit!

Pulling the car into the garage after our most recent excursion, we looked at each other & agreed this is exhausting! I said we need a butler to do all these chores & errands for us! A live-in butler.

And when there are trips that I must take, we need a weight-lifter to carry me!  ;D ;D ;D

4,284 steps yesterday. I just can't push myself any more... On the other hand my back feels better...

2472 steps yesterday.  That is how many steps I made going from the bedroom to the kitchen and from the bedroom to the bathroom.  One trip outside for the mail.  That was enough for me.

I hear ya Wally, I just can't push it. My back is so much better now that I am not taking so many steps. I see my pcp tomorrow and will talk to him about seeing the DO again for shots.

Talked to pcp today, he said DO won't see me if I am not in extreme pain...should have called a few weeks ago. But I would have to see pcp first and have an MRI before the referral. pcp doesn't recommend the shots, though I had great results the first time. He is pushing the Shingles vaccine though.

Aw Barb . . . that pcp of yours . . . total doofus disaster! Can't you get shed of him?

walkerwally1

7470 steps yesterday.  That was the first day since last week that I have felt up to walking just for the steps.  I didn't try to push too hard and getting to 7K was just fine.  I was out at 6:00 AM this morning and just a bit sore but that usually works out after I walk for a bit. It's heading to 100° + for the rest of the month so most of my walking will be indoors.
Barbara, I would not pay any attention to your doctor regarding the shot.  That I would leave up to the DO.  Sorry you have to get a referral to see one though. For me once I see a specialist I have been referred to that becomes "my doctor" and I do not need a referral to see him the next time.  Having to make two appointments just to see a specialist is quite an inconvenience.

It kills me not to push for the steps, but my back is so much better right now. I'm going to try to slowly up the steps and if problems arise, I will call the DO first.
