7528 steps yesterday.  I think I just have to accept that some days will be better than others and live with that.

11,650 steps yesterday. Got the extra exercise with the trenching and sweeping water.

Today so far things look good. I may dodge this bullet after all. Maybe...

8411 steps yesterday.  I think I am OK with just taking what I can do each day as good and not worrying about how much.  I am doing good at getting at least 500 steps each hour and I think that is important.

12,447 steps yesterday. Plus moving snow and sweeping water...

I agree Wally, I just walk what I can with no specific goal beyond my 8,000 steps.

11,936 steps yesterday. Plus the snow moving and sweeping. I think I have got all the snow moved that is a threat so today may only be sweeping water if needs be.

6815 steps yesterday.  I was doing great after the first couple of sessions in the morning but in the late afternoon I started having problems so I backed off.  I seem to be doing better today.

13,050 steps yesterday. Tomorrow I go in for my MRI so will lose quite a bit of time to driving and waiting around. May make up some steps with a little shopping.

9246 steps yesterday.  Shopping added a bunch of steps but it took me a while to recover after I got home.  I managed over 2000 steps in an hour but it does take a bit of a toll on me.
I got the update for the Stepz app and debated on whether to update but decided what the heck and did.  It was a mistake and I rally figured it would be.  There are a lot of different step tracker apps on the apple store so I am going to try a few and see which I like.  Actually mu Fitbit does everything I want except give me an hourly step count and the updated Stepz app did away with that also.

Wally there is a way to see hourly step count in the upgrade. Touch the bar in each hour and it will show the time and # of steps for that hour. If you do find another step app you like, please share.  :)

6082 steps yesterday.  I spent a lot of time working in the kitchen and on my feet and my back didn't like it.  I kind of had to take it easy for a while.
Barbara, after I was stupid enough to update the stepz app it wants a subscription of $3  week!  Certainly not worth that.  All of these apps just get the information from the iPhone itself so it is just how they display it.  I found another one I am trying and if I like it, it asks for a $5 fee to get rid of advertising or if the ads don't bother you it is free.  The ads just run in a banner at the bottom of the screen so not bad.  So far it looks good.  Like I said, they all get their information from the phone so the data will be the same for all of them.

My younger son who is embarking on a healthy lifestyle, recommended an app to me called "Pedometer".  So far as I know it is free and has those running banner ads at the bottom of the page.  It has daily, weekly and monthly totals of steps.  Kind of interesting for something different.

13,419 steps yesterday. The shopping made up for all the down time at the hospital getting the MRI.

That's odd Wally, my upgrade didn't ask for $$. Yikes $3/week is crazy! Maybe you had the paid app and that is why they want more $$?

I woke up late this morning and found the 'opportunity' to upgrade my stepz app.  I don't think they give much of a choice.  I hate their choice of colors especially the gray font on white background.  I will leave the app for now, but I might just 'delete' it completely if it asks for a weekly fee.
