Amazon has a whole bunch of Sketchers variety. For walking these are the best and I have 3 of them, 2 of which I can even use for day to day casual wear.

It's very hot and sultry to walk these days. Even then I was on vacation and I took time out with family to do a lot of walking while shopping through the bazaars.

Which variety is your favorite skb?  I seem to have missed your link.

6805 steps, 75 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  After I broke my hip I could not reach down far enough to tie my shoes so I tried shoes with Velcro fasteners and Sketchers made some with that feature.  That and SKBs endorsement was enough for me to try them.  I found them on Amazon also and they have worked quite well.  I think style depends on what you like.  I think for walking it would be best to skip the slip ons or sandals.

I very seldom wear anything other than clog type shoes. My feet feel claustrophobic in full shoes/sneakers. I have a pair of Clark clog/mules that are very comfortable for walking outside. Clarks are great shoes too. I'll have to look at more of the Skecher's outside shoes.

I didn't paste a link. I've put up an Amazon search panel at the bottom of the forum so you can search for any product there. This is the link of my search for "Sketchers" in the category Clothing and Accessories.

I have a regular pair of Puma sneakers but they are very comfortable for walking. I will try to get a pair of sketchers.

6312 steps, 72 min, 12/12 hours yesterday.  I can't imagine walking a lot in clogs but if it works for you that is what matters.  I am the opposite, I like the feeling of full shoes, makes me feel like my feet are protected and gives me good support.  I think a lot of it is what you have become used to.

Wally, they aren't clogs in the wooden shoe sense. I have 2 pair that are running shoes with a very, very low backs. Google women's mule shoes and you'll see photos. They are very comfy.

5902 steps, 53 min, 12/12 hours yesterday.  It was really windy so not too nice outside.
Yeah Barbara, when I hear clogs I think of a slip on without any back.  I can see some of these might be quite usable but I am not at all familiar with women's shoes or styles and just think of the traditional running or walking shoe.  Like I said I think the most important thing is what you find is the most comfortable as long as you have sufficient support.

Right about the support Wally. That is why I really like the Skechers slippers, they have great support.

My walking day is 10AM to Midnight. I don't go to bed until around 2AM and I do walk so that is the beginning of the next day, usually around 2,000 steps. So I am actually walking about 16 hours a day give/take a bit.
