8,116 steps yesterday. This from Apple Health app. Stepz apparently updated sometime yesterday and all my recent #'s are exceptionally higher. No idea why/how that happens. The Apple # seems very much true to what I did walk and the last time it records for my steps is spot on. The Stepz update said I did 12,471 steps yesterday! Not! It is really full of ads too. Think I am just going to use Apple. What app are you using Wally I'm done with Steps!?

The app I am using doesn't seem to have a name.   ??? It says maipo but you can't search with that.  if you search the app store with "step counter and scroll you will see an app that shows a girl walking with a yellow top and green shorts on a green background.  It is free and there are ads but the ad is just a small one on the bottom of the screen.  If you like it there is a paid version that will get rid of the ads.

Thanks Wally, I'll look for it. Stepz ads fill the whole screen and again they have sound!! Extremely annoying! And I don't know what is up with the counts!!

eta: I dowloaded it. I think I like it. Once you hit your goal does it keep counting? I of course changed the them e to purple!  :)

5370 steps, 55 min. and 11/12 hours walked yesterday.  I missed one hour fiddling with my darn computer.
Barbara, I assume it keeps counting as it is just using the data from the iPhone but I haven't reached the goal that was set by default so I really don't know.

12,664 steps yesterday.

Wally, the app starts another circle within the completed circle to catch steps after the goal is met. It matches exactly with the Health app. I like it!!  :)

The steps are picked up by the phone, the App just displays the data in various forms. Any app for that matter.

Thanks Wally for the description of the app you are liking currently.  I will look for it once I get home from seeing the GP this afternoon.  Stepz is getting hard to look at with its bright neon colors.  I would really like it if I could get rid of those ads they have.

That is true but I have tried out several different apps and for some reason some don't do as good of a job showing the same data.  I don't understand why as they are all using the same data from the phone but some are different.

5325 steps, 51 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  I am really battling soreness and stiffness when I first get up but as I walk it gets much better.

13,851 steps yesterday. That number is from the Health app, my step app had 13,764 steps 87 step difference, not a big deal.

2296 steps yesterday and 1-1/2 hrs walking.  I tried out a new Steps App and liked the idea of changing the colors displayed to purple which is my favorite color.  Anyway this app also shows the steps for each hour so I can keep track of what I've done throughout the day.  I think this might work better for me.

6607 steps, 68 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  A shopping trip added a bit to my count.
I like this app because it keeps track of time walked in addition to the number of steps.  That was always an unknown and when AARP started their challenge to walk at least 30 min. each day I found this app to be able to get that number.  It's just another way to measure but kind of interesting.

13,135 steps 2 hr 10 min walking.

I like this app but yesterday it froze up twice and today once. I had to turn off my phone and turn it back on to get it going again. Weird...
