That is weird.  I have not had it freeze on me yet.  Every once in a while my fitbit app will freeze up and I have to turn the phone off and back on.

My app not only froze up on me, one minute I'm looking at it wondering what made it freeze - and the next minute it was gone completely.  I love this app, so I went back to the app store and downloaded it again.  It wanted me to do a complete setup again and to upgrade to a paid version (which I already did when I first installed it).  Then, again while I was pondering what to do, the app "righted" itself and all was good and my settings were reinstalled automatically.  I had to turn off my phone and turn it on again.  I sent a note to their customer support, so we shall see what happens.

5538 steps, 43 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  I haven't had any problems with this app yet but it can always happen.  Often just turning your phone and restarting it will correct a lot of problems.

It is getting annoying having the app freeze up 2 or 3 times a day. I did not get the paid version and probably won't. If it disappears on me I will just go with the Apple Health app step counter.

Bigskygal - If it is any help to you, my reinstalled app has been behaving well since I reinstalled it.  I also shut my phone off and back on again, don't know if that helped but thats what I did.  I figure that rebooting the phone couldn't hurt.

7729 steps, 64 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  Sorry you are having trouble with the App, I guess I have been lucky because it has been well behaved for me.  The main reason I settled on this app was because it kept track of total min. along with steps.  That was the one thing missing from Fitbit and other apps I tried.  It is interesting to compare time with steps.  It depends on how fast you walk and it is not always the same.  I found out that I usually walk at 100 steps/min. when I am walking for exercise but it can be much slower if just trying to get from one room to the other.

So far today the app hasn't frozen up. Yesterday it did 3 times. I do shut the phone down and restart it, that is the only way I found to unfreeze the app.

Did 3 rounds of the walking track in the park yesterday. Took me about 45 minutes of brisk walking. Distance I think would be about 3.5 - 4 km.

Made a quick grocery store store run today to stock up a bit as I probably won't be allowed to drive soon after my surgery on Wed.

5281 steps, 55 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  It's warming up and supposed to be 99° today and over 100° for the rest of the week so most walking will probably be inside.    ~hot~
