8673 steps, 1 hour 17 min. and 12/12 hours yesterday.  I had an appointment with my Dermatologist yesterday and he took a biopsy on my ear so we will see how that turns out.  Afterward for some reason I just felt really pooped out.  Kind of backed off but still got steps in each hour.

Getting better slowly but surely.

Hope you get good results from the biopsy Wally.

Sweety

Today is the first day that I thought I could go out and enjoy a walk, but the rain is coming in too hard to let me do that.

Once again I have no idea how much I walked yesterday.  I decided to do a brake job on my car and left my Fitbit and phone in the house.  I only got the rear brakes done and I did something to my back so I quit.  I feel OK this morning so I will try to get the front done.  I don't know why, at my age, I still insist on working on my car instead of taking it to a mechanic but I guess because I always have and I am cheap !

I'm in the process of setting up a used (but new to me) fitbit Alta that I bought from someone who got one of them new Fitbit watches.  She didn't want the Alta anymore, so sold it to me for a good price.  It has that reminder to walk 250 steps per her, so maybe I can get a few more steps accumulated.

I spent about half of the day working on my car again and so I recorded 4464 steps after I was done. Back to normal today I think.
Grammabear, I like the hourly reminder from Fitbit to walk.  I think it helps to keep from sitting for too long and moving for the 250 steps each hour is something that i see as a good thing.  I am trying to manage around 1000 steps each hour right now because it seems that I can, most of the time, but just getting up and moving is a good thing and the number of steps is just what you are able to do.

11,165 steps. 1 hour 31 min. yesterday.  I had a dentist appointment and two fillings but it didn't cut into my walking as much as I thought it would.
Barbara, I like the Fitbit because it does more than just count steps.  I have the Charge 3 and it also tracks heart rate and sleep.  It is not essential but kind of interesting data to keep track of.  I started out with a digital pedometer originally that just tracked steps and have since tried Garmin and other Fitbit models but the Charge 3 I have now seems to be the one I like the best.  I also like their app that keeps track of your data.  It is on the phone and also on my Desktop.  It has a log you can keep track of what you eat that I used a lot when I first started LCHF and it helped a lot to keep track of the Macro nutrients taken in each day.
OTOH the phone app gives you the basic information of how many steps you take so it does the major task.

Thanks for the info Wally. I'm just not sure yet that I need all the extras...it might be interesting though. Maybe I'll treat myself for Christmas.

11,072 steps, 1 hour 40 min. yesterday.  Cooler weather makes it much nicer to walk outside.
Barbara, if you decide to try a Fitbit you may like the Inspire.  I have the Charge 3 but it is a bit large.  The Inspire looks like it does all that the Carge 3 does and it is waterproof.  You can get it with the heart rate function or without.  I don't think the heart rate is that important unless you are using it to monitor your exercise but it does help improve the sleep tracking.  One of the things I like about my Charge 3 is that it is easy to change bands and the Inspire has the same feature.  There are a load of different bands selling on Amazon.  I bought a metal band that looks great and is easy to take on and off.
